The ribs were a little tough but still good and the chopped brisket was amazing. I also enjoyed the potato salad and baked beans. The buttermilk pie was delicious.
Hard meat on what little meat on sad ribsSMALL end of day stuff I guessPlus no pickle or onions as listed on menuPotato salad on warm sideFirst time thereLast time thereStick with ALBERT G’s !!!
Well mushy Brisket sandwich more fat than meat. Sauce was very oily, and sandwich barley warm.
Food wasn't fresh. Nice friendly people but things need to be updated. Food seemed reheated.
We ordered the lunch special and a sandwich with 2 cokes and it was 35 dollars. The staff was friendly. The table we sat down at was dirty. The meat was like rubber. You can tell it was all reheated and not fresh. The ribs were so tough you could not chew them. The chopped brisket was 70/30 fat mix with fat being 70% The bologna was very gritty. Also extremely disappointed the ribs were cut in half. You get 1.5 ribs for 3 ribs. The sides were awful. Extremely expensive for not very good food. Overall I would not go back or recommend.
My first time there. I was familiar with the name but somehow never made it to this place even though I worked downtown. Very friendly, warm greeting by owner, a unique and welcome touch. I was looking forward to the BBQ due to knowing the name and the look of the place. I placed my order for a 3-meat plate. The amount of food I received was about half of what I typically receive from other establishments. In fairness, the cost was well less, as well, but I want leftovers and didn't get any. As many reviewers have noted, the hot links were good. The sliced brisket was way too fatty for my choosing and I wasn't provided a knife to aid me in cutting, which I needed. Flavor ok, but there is no primary house sauce. You have to mix a sweet sauce with their hot sauce. While I don't personally like these sides, I expect them. With so much waste due to trimming needs, I didn't get a lot of brisket. It was quite moist, which is hard to do. Plus, they were out of many soft drinks, which I like a soda with BBQ and Mexican. I substituted sweet tea, which was good, but our waitress couldn't keep it full with only one table. So, all in all, a mixed bag but, ultimately, the real question is whether I enjoyed my dining experience enough to recommend and come back. Despite the friendliness, I would say no.
The sweetest ladies EVER. I felt like I was sitting down at my grandparents house for dinner because they really make you feel like family. She even brought us a sample of the buttermilk pie while we waited for our food. Food was great and both the peach cobbler and buttermilk pie were FANTASTIC. I’m glad we made this random stop for lunch!
it's always great to go in and see Ms. Stutts shes a wealth a knowledge and I love the food.
Great place to satisfy your cravings for BarBQ! Best I've had.
Amazing ribs! I was hoping to get some really good BBQ while I was in Tulsa and the ribs were world class. The butter milk pie was just as good, we are definitely going back for more.
