I've always wondered why so many people complain about this store. Long waits, food is never ready when it is supposed to be. Then I dealt with a girl named Sarah. Extremally rude, no concern for the customers wait time and no apology for the wait. She can't even say thank you for giving them business. Maybe she has a problem with men, I don't know. But she is a very off putting little girl with a scowl on her face at all times. If you frequent this establishment, avoid her at all cost.
Not a good experience.cheese bread no cheese but 2 pieces. No tea refills even when we asked for them. 1 st visit
I’ve heard good things about this restaurant but I do NOT recommend their pizza. I picked up two pizzas to go (and live only 5 min away). Both were extremely soggy. See example below. Seemed like on one they didn’t even drain the artichokes before adding them. Then, on the pepperoni they put way too many and over saturated the pizza resulting in a soggy pizza as well. I was really looking forward to their wood-fired Neapolitan style but it was awful!
We had a great lunch here today. Everyone loves the food and Jenny provided excellent service. My wife loved the fresh asparagus salad, it was tasty and the portion was more than she could eat. I liked the lamb sausages and it was a big portion. Our family also liked the quiche, another large portion. This is one of the better restaurants I've been to in Tulsa.
Best guacamole in town!!!
I was wanting to try out a new place for lunch so went to Stonehouse Cafe. I went in to a very nice ritzy Cafe expecting a high dollar menu. I was immediately seated by a very courteous staff member and given a menu. Looking at the menu with no prices and my experience in the past was that if you are given a menu with no prices, you know your bill is going to be high. Thank goodness I had checked my account that day so knew I had no problem. The menu had a very nice selection. Since I had never been there I asked my waitress for their specialty or what their recommendation would be. I ordered half and half pizza. This pizza was the best mouth watering pizza I had ever had. I got the bill and my jaw dropped. For the service I had received and the flavor my bill was 5 times lower than what I was expecting. I had just had the food and the service fit for a queen. I can't wait to go back. I wish I could have given them more stars than just 5. The experience was that exceptional.
It has changed! Cold quiche and missing servers until you’ve finished eating. No ice tea refills. To top it off, my bill included a charge for the cook staff ?. When I inquired what that was for, I was told they have a difficult time keeping cooks, so they needed to pay them more and the customers will foot that! Will not be back which is sad since I’ve been dining there for years.
My husband and I went for a late lunch after some shopping. We sat at the bar and started with a Cabernet Sauvignon, Hunt and Harvest. It was a bold rich wine. We ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and crabcakes. Both were delicious. My hubby said the pizza was quite spicy because of the jalapeños. Oh, and the bread and butter was so dense and delicious.
Stonehorse is the ONLY place we'll take our out of town guests. The variety is great, the location! outdoor dining, the service, All top notch.
See the daily menu. Lots of variety. Portions were large enough to take home the rest for a second or third meal.
