We got into town late and wanted a sit down meal without waiting half an hour or longer for a table. We just happened to see this place open and not crowded. It doesn't look like much on the outside and I thought it was a pool hall or bar, and the building is a non-descipt white generic building at the corner of a strip mall. It's odd inside as half feels like a restaurant and half feels like bar. I was willing to try but hesitant because it didn't look "restauranty" enough for me. We both ordered burgers and glad we did! The burgers were juicy, tasty, and looked to be freshly ground beef hand formed into a patty. This was far superior to Whataburger and drive through burgers. The patty was juicy even with mine being well done! We really enjoyed our meal and I would definitely return the next time we are in town.
So I would give the food a 5?review but I'm basing this on overall experience. I've been here several times and I love their food. Love it so much, in fact, that I went there to eat on my birthday. We got inside and we're met by a long line. Not surprising, it was a Saturday. But they were understaffed for the amount of people waiting. Everyone seemed to be in a bad mood- other customers and staff. To the extent that it made me uncomfortable and we left. I was super bummed. I'm sure it was an "in the moment" experience and this review shouldn't keep you from trying them out.
It was a slower Sunday night but ther service was on point! Super friendly and the food was good! I had an excellent experience. The bartender was very polite and the guy busing tables, delivering food, and greeting everyone with a positive additude was what really made my visit great. I assume he is the floor manager and if not he needs to be. It was probably 7 pm so if you all read this definitely tell those crew members "Dam fine job!"
It looks better than it tastes. That being said it was pretty good, couldn’t hurt to give it a try. Nice atmosphere! But for the price I don’t think I’d go back again.
We brought in 20 people and I called 20 minutes before we came and they had a table set up for us already. They found out we were graduating and gave my husband and I a special treat. They were so kind and I highly recommend coming here if you have a big group of people! Food is ALWAYS super good and fresh!
BBQ Burger was bomb!! Turkey burger was great too. I recommend the sweet potato fries! I can't wait to go back. It was delicious, I think you so much! Very friendly staff too.
The Garage experience changes drastically at every location. This location is definitely one of the better ones. Great service and good food.
So I am not a huge fan of being waited on. I love Smitty’s because I can order my food, go sit down and they bring it to you. I can get up and grab my own drink without trying to track down someone to refill my drink. Same with the beer. They have great beer, great burgers, great atmosphere and the sweet potato fries.. oh my. It is mine and my husband’s go to place. The service is great to! Keep doing what ya’ll are doing!
I only came to eat here to get a beer with my meal. They said the bartender would stop by my table and get my order. So I waited 5 mins then asked an employee about it they said he would be right over. I wait longer my food comes and I asked again my drink same reply. A table of 4 people sit down two booths down and they immediately get the bartender and get their drinks. UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.SO I ATE MY WHOLE MEAL WITH no beer. Total waste of my time. I will not come here again.
The food & service is great! Love the hamburgers, sweet potato fries, and lettuce wraps!
