Going in recommended by others gift card in hand not sure what to expect. The ladies spoke the menu with knowledge to the point it sounded like a different language. I ordered the Avocado 1/3 burger, smash fries w/ a drink and my Prego Companion ordered smash everything burger, fries w/ drink.. our tab $22 and some change. The greeters/cashiers were awesome and very personable. Great food. Great staff. A menu to try. Tasty and different from most; a must try. Go see what your taste buds applaud. Awesome menu and staff. I enjoyed the experience .. Thanks!
Bizarre! I asked for a chocolate and strawberry milkshake and the lady said she would have to charge me for 2 different shakes? I explained to her that I wanted half chocolate half strawberry in one shake. She said they didn’t have that option. I asked to speak to the manager, his name was Brant. Brant said they were able to do that, so he’s showing “red hair lady” how to do it, she proceeds to look up and me and roll her eyes and stick her tongue out? I told the manager that she was doing this and she said, “I’m not even looking at you.” Very odd. I sat down and waited for my order. I started recording this “red head” employee because she was giving me side eyes and rolling her eyes at me. She walked passed me and screamed and said, this is offensive. I said what you’re doing is offensive. I then ask the manager for her name. He said he “forgot “ her name ? and he was drawing a blank. He said she usually doesn’t act like this and that she’s having a hard time. Like did that manager really think that I would believe him about not knowing her name ??♀️??♀️?Look we all are having hard times, but I don’t act unprofessional or scream at people. Anyways, after the manager went to the back “to get her name” which is a lie…. How do you not know your employees names??? He said her name is “Julie Childers” but I think it’s a fake name. This location has the same problems all the ones in DFW used to. Until they closed up and went out of business.Fries so cold there is no point eating them. Asked for BBQ instead of mayo, it's on the ticket, but no BBQ sauce. The chicken has no flavor and is dry. It would be less of a problem has they put in the BBQ sauce, but whatever.This was the last one. Never going to any smash burger again. They are all terribly run and don't even bother trying.Just go somewhere else. Like anywhere.
I used to work here where I seen a drug deal in the front of the restaurant that management swept under the rug. I did proper protocol going thru the chain of command telling the GM and calling the corporate manager as well as emailing the CEO of smashburger in which this email was illegally shown to other employees. Still nothing was done and icing on the cake They never paid me either referral fee. I've worked in many restaurants even in upper management never in my life have I seen such unprofessionalism from any company.
Very disappointed today….we drove from Springfield MO and searched out Smashburger to eat on our way to Texas. I called first to make sure they were open and the voice recording said they were helping dine-in guests. “Ok, so that means they’re open!”, I thought. After missing the exit due to construction we went out of our way to circle back around only to arrive to a locked door. No sign on the door with the reason for closing and no update on the Facebook page. Very frustrating!!! Additionally, I’m not a fan of posting negative reviews and would much rather contact the manager or business directly but the messaging option is not on.
I got to have my first date here and it was a pretty good experience. The food was done fast and the burgers were a decent size.
I love Smashburger. The first one I went to in Boston, it had me hooked. This one? The burger wasn’t right, not smashed at all. The crispy patty that makes it so good wasn’t there. Disappointed in this location.
Ordered for my 25 year old daughter and she loved her cheeseburger, sweet potato fries and drink. Plus the friendly service and atmosphere.
It’s always been an excellent place to eat and they have the best burgers in Tulsa.
