Adv. That pick up time & once arrived order was still not ready. Manager said it was going to be addional 15 min before this order was complete. Adv. Order was rang in at 3:37pm & still wasn't ready by 4:16pm
This is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m craving a steak (the filet is my go-to). I recently was in for lunch and decided to branch out and try something different, so I ordered the Steak Salad (without eggs and olives - but do as you please!). The balsamic dressing is killer and the cooked green beans add a nice snap to the salad. I know the potatoes sound weird, but they are great too! The blue cheese provides that nice tangy flavor that compliments the dressing nicely. This is definitely my new favorite salad!
We stopped in for a light dinner and decided to have soup and salad. the soup was the worst Potatoe soup I have ever tasted. The first soup was cold and when he brought the second soup it was watered down and tasted like it was micro waved. The salad was ok, and the beer was cold. The manager never came by to check on us.
Food was a miss overall. Went out with my wife and some family on a Friday night. The steakhouses on 71st had a long wait. Saltgrass did not so we made drive over. Seating was immediate, staff was great.The place was busy so our waiter was hit and miss. Others picked up the slack so it wasn't an issue. Staff was genuinely working hard. The manager even came to check on us prior to the main course.Food however, was not great. Steaks were cooked fine but quality was subpar. My wife also ordered her steak "smothered" which is supposed to be topped with mushrooms and onions. This was a $2.99 adder to an already pricy small steak. A couple of small mushrooms and a couple of grilled onion rings came out in a sauce cup, on the side.Just disappointing when you spend over $60 on two people. General consensus, moving forward, we would now wait for the other steakhouse seating.
Our 2nd visit to Salt grass, and we'll be back!Service and food was excellent once again.... Our waiter, Clint, did an outstanding job taking care of us!I had the Chicken Fried Chicken, smothered in cream gravy, and Clint more gravy on the side for my fries!
First time here and I love it. Food was Great, service too, bread was delicious and all the decor and fireplaces warm the places up.
First time to eat here. Baked potato was was not hot. Won’t come back. Service was slow. Bread wasn’t good either. Texas Roadhouse was way better.
Used to love Salgrasst, this is the second visit to this location. Absolutely terrible. $8.99 for 3 pieces of crawfish and a few tomatoes to top a terrible steak. Only in Texas I guess.
Amazing service at the end of an evening! Wade and his staff were 100%. Will make this a go to spot on my travels
