I was not impressed. Won’t be returning. The Caesar salad I ordered had bruised wilted and slimy pieces in along with a random shred of radish and some chopped tomatoes smashed and glued to the bottom of the bowl. The Caesar dressing had the texture and taste of oil with a soured aftertaste. The crab cake pasta I received had mushrooms (not listed in the description)- light lemon butter pasta had NO flavor- again just greasy and oily. I had to flag down server and ask for lemons so there was something to taste. No salt anywhere. Crab cakes were okay-ish. Server was acceptable I suppose, I’d have preferred not watching her sit across from me playing on her phone and having to flag her down for everything. She was however kind and smiling. I expected better after reading the reviews and viewing the prices. Disappointed and with a stomach ache from the overload of grease.
My family and I have been going here for years! We’ve celebrated many birthdays and have had many family dinners here. It has been a favorite for all three of my daughters and myself.We recently celebrated a milestone birthday here. The service was exceptional and my meal was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had anywhere.I highly recommend this restaurant for the food alone, but also happens to be fairly priced and the atmosphere is nice.
I love the atmosphere and the food here. Especially the shrimps are fresh and crunchy. Oliveto is now my favorite restaurant for Italian. The chicken is average, it's tough and not as fresh. If they can fix that then it would be perfect. Very nice place, a little small.
Just ok. This was my first and last time. I ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs for pickup. They barely put any meat sauce on the pasta, and there was a decent pool of water underneath it all. The flavor was lacking and the meatballs taste frozen. Spaghetti is hard to mess up, especially for an “Italian Bistro.” I was going to leave 1 star, but did 2 since the food was ready 10 minutes early and still hot when I got home.
I am from New York City and the Italian restaurants there are great. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana. It was awful . They actually used chicken patties. I think they were frozen. The patties were soft and mushy. The chicken was served on spaghetti , and the sauce was watery like you get in Chef Boyardee. This is no Angelines, which is excellent. Service was ok but the food was not even close.
Great service, atmosphere and food was phenomenal would recommend . Signed up for e club and got free pizza for my birthday they gave me discount salad as well for going on Mon so I got everything for $2.
Food and the drinks really good. The beer selection is kind of small but it's an Italian restaurant and they're not known for beer. I enjoyed the riced cauliflower in place of the pasta, that was a nice option although be warned that it will cost you $2.50 extra for that. If you happen to be diabetic and can't eat the pasta, you just do it but that is on the annoying side. All the vegetables and sauces were very tasty. I do have to say they were understaffed but hard-working still, because of the trouble getting staff the facility seems to suffer a bit for it. I enjoyed my visit and I will go again even though they do have some limitations you have to watch for
Very reasonable price. I had crab cakes they really didn't taste fresh like homemade more like pre-made patties. Pasta and dessert ? was very delicious. Great customer service. I waiter Anthony was the best. He did a great job dealing with a table of 15 by himself
This restaurant is great. We went for late lunch or early dinner, so it was not crowded. The food was better than I expected. I had shrimp scampi on angel hair pasta. There was no extra dipping sauce, but plenty of shrimp. The flavor was perfect and the shrimp were not over cooked. My husband had the lasagna and it tasted just like mine, (which is very good) but a little better. So that being said I forgot to take pictures, but will try to remember the next time. Oh yes, there will a next time. The decor of this restaurant is such, that it would be a nice place to go to for a special occasion. I can't wait to go back and work my way thru the menu. My compliments to the chef and staff. You made a wonderful impression on me and you have become my go to Italian restaurant.
