Friendly atmosphere, plenty of help, minimal wait time on food. The food has enormous portions and pricing is good. The food was amazing!
Great little dinner. Has a wide variety of items and the prices are really great for the portions you get. I would say it is very reasonable for all the items. I had the hamburger with Texas toast and fries smothered in gravy. It was great. Will be coming back with the rest of the family for sure.
A very good place to eat served in real people sized portions..It's usually always somewhat busy so there's no ideal time to go but the service is decently fast. If you like cafe style food and a friendly waitress staff who keeps the coffee coming, Moms is the place.
Stopped in for breakfast this morning since we stayed in the area. Not a fancy place, but it was filled with locals. Nice menu with lots to chose from. My wife liked her french toast and I really enjoyed my 2+2+2 (2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 strips of turkey bacon). Heather was our server and she was friendly, didn't auction off the food and did check back with us. The place was packed and she, along with all the other servers, were really moving to get the food out to the tables quickly. Not like some places where they just stand around. Prices are not bad at all for what you get and if you are in the area, stop by, it's well worth it.
I only have great things to say. Food was great. Service was great. Most of all the waitress rocked!!! You know when you have one that goes above and beyond, makes you feel like you're the only person in there?? That's her. Katt is awesome. If you can sit in her area do it.
Had a short wait as the restaurant was packed when we arrived and the manager was actively working to separate tables to provide additional seating.Service was friendly. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back.
I live near this diner . Been awhile since my last visit . The food is usually OK. Today we ordered takeout chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes an okra. Mashed potatoes were really dark an dry not sure it was mashed potatoes they were inedible. The chicken fried steak an to much breading an it was soggy not cooked thoroughly. The pictures show all the food that was not edible
On my third visit to this diner I ordered the Spanish omelet. It came to the table hot, fluffy, and loaded with fresh veggies and mild sausage. Our waitress, Jewell recognized and welcomed my parents who are weekly regulars. She served us with detail to attention and responded quickly when we needed something. Our party of five seemed pleased overall, though my wife's bacon was a bit overcooked and her over-medium eggs were actually over-easy. (Does any diner understand over-medium means a slightly runny yolk?)
Absolutely the Best chicken fried steak in the world come from California every year and never miss it
For years now I have enjoyed the food. I particularly like seating at the counter. The staff is very proper. A cheerful atmosphere. Did I mention the quality and value? It is special.
