We had a very nice visit on 7/15/2022. We had a party of five and we were seated and quickly greeted by our server, Sara. We all enjoyed our food and just an FYI the chicken tender dinner and fish dinners are HUGE and could easily have been shared. The chicken itself was very good. My son enjoyed the silver dollar pancakes, and I had the Hot honey chicken sandwich with broccoli, which was seasoned nice and very good. My mom also enjoyed her Shepard's Pie. Sarah was a very nice server, and checked on us often. It was a pleasant meal, and we were traveling through, we had never been here before, but would be happy to come back next time we pass through.
First time really clean, great service, my wife loved her children biscuit with spicy honey. I couldn't make up my mind and got a burger it was decent and loved the feel of the place
Sarai was amazing! She was the only server there and was rocking that joint! She suggested the pot roast and it slapped! My husband liked his burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches (see pic below). For desert, lemon blueberry bread pudding. It was chef's kiss!!
Our food was really delicious! Neither Mark nor I usually have hash browns and so I ordered grits and he ordered fresh fruit to go with our San Francisco eggs benedict. The San Francisco eggs benedict has avocado on it and I must say it was delicious! The cheese on the Grits was really tasty! They even have patio dining.Paige was our waitress today and she was great! ? When I looked at her across the restaurant, she came right over without me waving at her.
Going downhill quick! Haven’t eaten here in about a year and it really was awful tonight. My spouse got a very cold bowl of potato soup and I was very surprised that my order of a chicken parm sandwich was covered in slivers of onion and peppers which weren’t listed in the menu. The waitress was very sweet though. Definitely will not go back.
By luck, we found this restaurant and it was very good. I had the shepherds pie which was huge and my husband enjoyed the meatloaf. Would definitely go again.

Their veggie omelette was delish. Who puts mushrooms, asparagus, etc. Yummm!?
I had chicken and waffle from Metro Diner. As seen in the photo, it was yummy. Their portion was bigger than I expected but the price was bit higher though it had big portion. I dont think it was worth $16.99 (probably 10.99 would have been fine). There are still other items on the menu that are less expensive so could give a try.
Absolutely loved it. I was shocked to see it in my town. Also, it tasted just as great as the first time I had it in Augusta, GA. portions, were just big, and priced the same. Glad to the franchise has made it to the Midwest.
