Oh how I wanted to love this place... And oh how I just can't. Overall, it's not bad. It's just nothing great. Well, okay the rye bread was great tasting, but too thinly sliced.I got the Reuben, first thing listed on the Sandwich menu, I figured it had to be delicious. The Corned Beef was good, a lil bland but tender and tasty. However, if you are gonna charge me $10+ for a sandwich, you better cover the bread from edge to edge with meat. Where was the kraut? I mean its cheap, pile it high, make a statement. But if I don't need a fork to clean my plate after... Something went wrong. That leads us to the bread thickness, it was lightly sauced, barely any kraut and before I was done, the bread was already starting to get wet. Hmmm nope I was not impressed. Now for some more good, the Adult Grilled Cheese was good, very serviceable. But keep in mind Tulsa has a few Great grilled cheese shops in town now. Then the BLT... Very good. The bacon was thick and tasty. Good Lettuce, very nice.Now the desserts... LOL... This part gets better. The Tiramisu Cupcake was very tasty and moist. The Bavarian cream peanut butter cheese cake was delicious, I almost didn't even get to taste it. Hehehe. But the Bavarian Cream filled Cupcake had only a thimble full of cream piped into it, but it was yummy.Lastly, sadly, I included a pic of the chandelier hanging between the doors and the registers... Take it down or clean it... Very unappetizing.Still, I wanna try this place again. I want to love it...
Unable to edit original post. Change from 3 start to a 1. Reason being. Ordered a cake for Mother’s Day. Not only did they not let me place my original order. But they also failed to info me the cake I ordered was going to be frozen. That would have been great information to note for a special occasion with a narrow window for celebration. And that was only because I asked due to the box being ice cold. So now the whole purpose for the cake on Mother’s Day cake is ruined and a complete bust. Do not recommend. Poor customer service and extreme lack of appropriate communication when ordering. Thanks for ruining the day!
Paid $138 dollars for a baby shower cake. They put it in a box that it barely fit in. Therefore when you picked up the cake the sides touched and messed up the cake. I was not happy about that. The cake was beautiful but as far as the taste Walmarts taste better
Ludger’s made the most amazing custom cake for my mom’s birthday. My mom has a west highland terrier dog that she adores and they were able to replicate her dog’s spitting image on the cake! We were thrilled with the results and so was she! Thank you Ludger’s for your amazing service and artistry!
I ordered a very specific cake made for my wife's 50th. The online order form made that easy and fun. The rep I talked to, Kalie, asked me for additional details to flesh out the idea and set clear expectations. They delivered beyond expectation. My wife was so happy. The cake was delicious, too.
So, if you've never had a "Bavarian Creme Cake" before, do yourself a favor and go to Ludger's. This cake was absolutely delicious. So moist, and very tasty. It's a delightful combination of traditional cake and cheesecake, with a very subtle cheescake-like textured/flavored creme. This was our first time trying this cake, but most certainly not our last. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and even gave helpful instructions on serving and storing the cake before serving, which was great! Thank you for a fantastic experience and a wonderful item! We'll be back! ??
Absolutely what My daughter wanted for her 25th birthday! The cake was a hit and tasted delicious ? Ludger’s took time with my order over the phone and wanted to get the details correct. The young lady on the phone was wanting to secure the details, because she too knows the Sponge Bob episode that makes the cake funny ? I highly recommend Ludger’s Bakery for your specialty cakes! They came through with a weather and time constraints. Professional and friendly. Thank you for the priceless smile when she opened the box!
Been going to here for at least 9 years for a heart shaped cake for my birthday. I tried desperately to online order thus cake this year for my birthday with no luck 3 messages and 4 text messages my cake never got ordered. it shouldn't be that hard to make the signature cake but this year I had no cake.
