Everyone here is very hard-working, kind and accommodating. The manager and the waitstaff are friendly and caring and my BLT had really green fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I was cold and the manager adjusted the temperature at my request and I was having a very difficult evening and he inquired to see if I was OK. Nice to go to a restaurant run by humans.... God's blessings to all.
I attend ORU here in Tulsa, and a group of friends and I always attend this IHOP due to its close proximity to our campus. Although this is the original reason for our attendance, I would now safely say that the main reason we come to this one is the people that work here, specifically Skylar. Skylar has shown great creativity and a solid personality. He has worked with us to create amazing food combinations on create-your-own orders, he has also talked with us in such a down to earth way that we feel at home in a restaurant! He treats everyone with intention and great care, and he really takes his role in this restaurant seriously, it is very obvious when you come here that Skylar does not just see this as a job but as a career. I would recommend this place to anyone due to Skylar's ability to make this a fun atmosphere with creativity and personality.
Man, my man SKYLER was over here at this location. SKYLER is a true hommie. He ran the shift smoothly and with fast service. SKYLER 's table-side demeanor was on point the second we walked in. We joked around with each other and helped us out with ordering and subbing the items we wanted. On top of that, the food came out hot, delicious, and in a timely fashion. I highly commend and recommend the S Lewis, 71st Tulsa, OK location to anyone wanting the best IHOP experience.
From the looks of the parking lot, I almost did not come in - they were packed! I am so glad I did!From the moment the hostess welcomed me, this visit has been fabulous!The hostess was nice & friendly! She sat me immediately! I had a booth next to the kitchen. Steve, my server, came to introduce himself and take my order!Steve was full of life and a positive attitude! He brought me my food and drinks - they came in such swiftness, I thought they must be precooked and cold. BUT I WAS WRONG! everything was hot, fresh, delicious and looked amazing!While I enjoyed my meal I was able to see other servers and staff....I have to tell you - this crew may well be overworked and underpaid.....but you would never know it!They are fantastic!
Quiet, clean place to have coffee, conversation and some waffles. Don't you just love it when staff members point out at customers without any hint of respect. That's a no no...hope no one else sees that.?
Service changes depending on the time of day. I will not eat there during the day because the staff is lazy, rude and slow. During the day, the service and the food are sub-par. More often than not, the day crew has gotten at least one of our orders wrong and they don't care. The night shift however is great. The night staff are friendly and quick, rarely get orders wrong and on the rare occasion it is, they are quick to fix it. Unlike the day crew, there are staff that are actually in the dining area if you need them. At night, the preparation and presentation of the food far exceeds what is served during the day and ironically never fails to be served much quicker. My overall rating is considering the locationas a whole. Rating as per the shift, I give 4.5 stars for the night crew and 1 star for the day crew (and I truly feel that the 1 star is being generous)
Experienced the Very Best of Service today at 71st and Lewis!Food was perfect and "T" was phenomenal. The entire staff there was incredible."T," our attendant, was the (Best) of the Best.Thank you, so much, Sweet "T"❤JP
Food was fine what I didn’t like was that while we were eating . The managers in. Blue where arguing with an employee and literally heard them fire the guy .. it was sooo unprofessional. They couldnve token him to another room and had a discussion but no they decided to be ugly and unprofessional and say it to where I can hear them I heard the whole convo and it was so sad to watch .. need to honestly do better
For a great breakfast at IHOP you need great pancakes, great eggs, and great coffee. Unfortunately the last couple of times the coffee has been bitter and tastes like it was filtered through cardboard. All the rest is still great.
Food was good but service not so great i asked for some extra salsa so I could eat my food after waiting 20 minutes nothing finally the waitress sees me looking around asks it i want a box i said no I couldn’t even get salsa so I could eat and i told her im just ready to leave now she also told me my son and I couldn’t have straw because they were out but people who arrived afterwards got straws ??♀️ its the little things people I understand if you are busy but when you are not whats the deal with poor service even are drinks were super low and didn’t even get offered a refill
