All I can say is if you want good food, go to goldies. Pickle bar, burgers, and all kinds of different things to order plus, friendly atmosphere

We've been dining at Goldie's my entire life and it's just as good as it always has been. We made a special trip over for dinner while in town, because it is on my list of MUST DOs whenever we visit family in Tulsa. I was craving a Goldie's burger. The original 51st and Lewis store is temporarily closed so we chose the 61st St. store. A few things have changed since the pandemic and they don't have the pickle bar open, but the waitress did ask if we wanted sweet or dill pickles and brought us a bowl of them. I ordered my usual Goldie's Special with cheese plain and dry with a side of coleslaw, They will provide toppings and condiments, but I have always loved the taste of their plain burgers and it doesn't need them. This is the ONLY time I will eat an undressed burger. The coleslaw is creamy with a mayo based dressing and it's a little sweet and has some garlic in it, but you can't taste it. It does make the dish though. I have the recipe, so I do know for a fact garlic is in it. This burger has been a Tulsa tradition since 1962. This was everything I remembered and expected. When a burger can stand on it's own with just meat and bun, you've got a winner. It's not fancy or artisan like today's foods, but's it's simply good old fashioned food.

The last 3 times we have been to goldies have been the worst. to begin, the crackers they brought out with the pickles were stale and then the burger I ordered was to be cooked medium and when it was delivered, the bottom bun was completely soaked in blood and running on the plate into the fries. The onion provided was cut so thick that it was too much to put on the burger and has been presented that way every time now. The wait person never asked to get us refills and took a long time for them to come pick up the ticket. I have seen a steady decline in food and service at this location. and We will not, after being a long time customer, come back to eat here again.

We've ordered takeout several times. Each time, they got the condiments we requested wrong. Otherwise, the food was tasteful and how we ordered it.

They are just a shadow of their former selves. In their heyday(70's & 80's) they were really something special. Food was good, but left a longing for nostalgia.

I love this place and so do a lot of people. Only Goldies currently open in Tulsa at 61st and Sheridan. It was packed at lunch. They bring you a bowl of all the pickles because the pickle bar is closed. Only place I order my burger medium because the meat and seasonings are so good. The beans and cole slaw are to die for. Service was great even though they were packed. My go to burger place in Tulsa!

I LOVED GOLDIES, but this time I ordered a medium burger and jt was raw.. it was like ground beef with a char outer layer.

Still one of best Burgers in town. And all the pickles you want never hurts your review! ???

The food was quick, hot and fresh. The table was clean and the waitress was very proactive so we didn't have to ask for anything.

A Tulsa classic. Burgers as good as when I first tried them over 50 years ago!
