Been eating there 15 years. Always good food. Wet Burrito is awesome.
Great food, service and prices! Cold bottled Mexican sodas! Will definitely eat here again! No alcohol so not a place to eat if you are looking forward to a margarita or a beer with your meal.
Was a good experience overall. The chips and salsa were only okay, they didn't give us a refill for the chips but did for the salsa so that was confusing as we had nothing to dip in the salsa. The main food was good but they did have a little delay on tortillas that were supposed to be served with the entree I ordered, but came after. I'll give it another try on the future.
Consistently good !!! The sauces are homeade. The meats are marinaded and in a yummy sauce. No dry leathery bits. I even ate the beans and rice which I don't usually like. Generous portions as well. Highly recommend !!!
Never a bad meal here but be careful. If you time your visit when it is busy, the service suffers some. Not enough to knock off a star because some places get swamped. Wet Burrito is a must here and over the years I've tried different meats. I don't believe I've tried the Lengue yet (need tongue). Their salsa is unique. I like it.
Read reviews and had to try while visiting Tulsa.. Went with a friend (we are from Mustang, OK) and my daughter in law from California. We started with chips and salsa wasn't impressed with that at all but the dinner, atmosphere and service was phenomenal ?
best Mexican food around I love this place
I'm from South Texas and am a fan of good Mexican, Colombian, and Cuban food. Many of the restaurants were in Houston, San Antonio, and DFW areas. Delicioso!!! But El Rio Verde, even though I so wanted it to be, was nothing special. Take it from this native south Texan and don't expect too much. I really want to give it 2.5 stars.
Super local and super authentic. Don’t judge this book by it’s cover, staff is friendly and food is legit. We have had burritos, tacos, flautas, etc and all are delicious. They season and flavor the meats really really well. It’s a very down to earth and local place, so don’t expect anything more than great food. Love this place and highly recommend.
