The food's pretty good, we usually go on Wednesday when it's cheap enchilada night. The service was a little slow because according to the door they're hiring servers, but our waitress was nice and joked around with us.
The food is always good, I normally get takeout. They're usually super quick. It's been a while since I dined in, but from my memory the service is decent. It's rather dark inside which I'm not crazy about.. Regardless, this will always be my favorite Mexican restaurant and my favorite location! ?I get the enchiladas with sour cream sauce and double rice... Also love the queso, and the salsa varies, but it's typically bomb.
My wife and I shared steak fajitas. I really like the way El Chico's prepares them and they lived up to my expections. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Service was great as well.It is a bit of a drive from our house but it is worth making the trip.
It was bussin. I did find a single piece of steak in my chicken quesadilla, but I didn’t mind. Our waiters name was Carlos and he was really cool.
I was blown away about how fresh everything tasted. Definitely going to be back.
How do you screw up chips and queso ?? occasionally i order take out from here on my lunch hour. The lady who answered the phone was rude, I asked for while queso, as i was saying this she talked over me asking yellow or white, i again said white. At the end of the call confirmed i asked for white queso. It also says on the receipt. This was half my lunch… I do not like Yellow cheese it’s way to rich for me gives me a stomach ache. I’m upset because I was really lookin forward to some chips and white queso and they screwed up the most simple thing I’ve ever ordered, of course I’m also mad that I paid $6 for a cup of queso that went in the trash. I kinda feel like they owe me.The guy who gave me my food was very nice. The lady who takes care of the carry out food is rude and they clearly don’t pay attention. I definitely wouldn’t eat here again… chips and queso isn’t that hard. Feel like she did that just to be rude.
This place is not new. Having said that I think with Mexican restaurants its more about the food than decorating. When it comes to food this place does not disappoint. The food was great. The portions will fill you up. The service was fine. We come by here when we're in Tulsa and the quality has been consistent. We'll keep coming here. We feel it's a treat.
It is awesome Cristal is the most brightest person who has ever severd my food no lie and the manager Anthony was very polite and has a awesome smile there a very homey spirt and this is my new favorite restaurant yay!!!!!
I have 2 favorite Mexican restaurants, and El Chico is one of them. They never fell to serve Great Food every time!! I try something different every time I go, I'm running out of dishes to try because I go so often. I've never had anything I didn't like. The staff is superb. Love this place!!
