I hadn't realized it had been over 4 years since my last visit. Which isn't my fault living in a different city and state. I'm glad that they're reasonably priced while offering a variety of food items that should feel your hunger. This time I enjoyed a cheese coney with onions and a small frito pie with onions. I wish I would've gotten the large pie instead. On my next trip, I plan on devouring a loaded potato with onions. I may be wrong, but I believe they have a spaghetti 3 way along with chili and it was the bomb.
For starters, I grew up in Michigan and was raised on Detroit Coney Island Coneys. These give the Detroit Coney a run for their money, which is saying a lot. What primarily sets them apart is the spice to their chili. While it is not hot it's also not overly mild like Detroit Coney tend to be. They certainly have just the right amount of spice. But you can always add more.
Honestly a lot of these comments hype this place up and I always try to come see what the hype is about but this place wasn't that good like everyone said. It's not bad and the price is decent but definitely not the coney island I was hoping for. I give it 2 stars only for the look. The place has a nostalgic feel but that's it . I probably won't be back.
The best Coney's in Tulsa! This family recipe has been used for almost 100 years! These remind me of my childhood and the price for a filling lunch can't be beat. The nostalgia is strong, the restaurant is cute, food is great, but nothing beats the family that runs the place. The service is incredible, they never forget a face and treat everyone with kindness and enthusiasm. I've never walked in and not been greeted with a warm smile right before being served delicious Coney's straight from the past. This is how Coney's should be. Thank you for your great service and dedication! Always happy to see you and feel so welcomed.
Don't be fooled!!This location is the only original Coney Island Hot Wiener's in the Tulsa metro area!!All others are knock offs!!BTW, how much were coneys when you ate your first one? Me? They were $0.5 cents a piece. My dad would take me up there on Saturday mornings and we would buy a bag full to take home! Those school desks were the same desk I remember as a child. And now I'm an old man They are almost 100 years old.
This is the only thing in Tulsa. Great conies. The rest of Tulsa is a bunch of boring inbred okies. Tulsa is the most boring uncultured place I have ever been
The people behind the counter are not too friendly the place is nice and clean very good food that's the only place I eat Coney islander
Had a large order, and it wasn't all there. But, great staff, very friendly and helpful. They even helped me carry out my order to my car. Great loaded fries!!!
I went for lunch and I must say it was great they have a great deal 3 coney's and a drink for $5.99 the food was great and service was good very clean and friendly environment
