Tumblin thru Tulsa: the Spice is Right for the Price. Marched eagerly up to this business on a sweltering afternoon with visions of vegan fried chik’n dancing in my head. The accommodating staff were quick to arrange a patio table for me and my partner and her dog. The sandwich arrived promptly and was a greasy sight to behold. An enchanting hunk of tender, cruelty-free plant protein smothered in vegan dill sauce and shredded lettuce. The “medium level spice” left my taste buds appropriately scorched. Only quietly wished a few more crinkle cut Cajun style fries would miraculously appear on my plate. Otherwise no complaints. A solid vegan spread.
Chicken was only ok. Definitely more spicy than you would expect even with their warnings. I like hot foods, very very spicy foods and didn't eat their hottest selection. Was too spicy but even worse, no taste other than the spicy heat. Just that single hot note, nothing else. No smoke, no sweet, no fruit, nothing else. On a positive note, the portions were large, good value but not especially tasty.
Excellent but be aware of their spice levels. I like spicy things, within reason, and got the medium and it was right at my limit. Delicious, but make sure you don't order something too hot for you!
Terrible customer service and hygiene. This was our first time here. There was a person in front of us, and the long-haired guy taking the order seemed annoyed and angry about the person in front of us was having questions. This was my 1st red flag. Everyone working looked like they didn’t want to be there. Then, it was our turn and someone else with fishnet leggings took our order, which went fine (for the moment). We sat at the bar area next to it while waiting for our to-go order. While waiting, you can see everything going on in the kitchen. The 1st thing we noticed was the long-haired guy blowing his nose, not washing his hands, putting on gloves and then food-prepping. That is disgusting, I don’t care if the gloves are on or not. Wash your hands first. After 10 minutes, we then noticed the fish-net girl sitting on the ground, both hands on the ground behind the register. If being on your feet all day is tiring, this probably isn’t the job for you. After a couple minutes, she got up, dusted her hands off on her clothes, and took an order after a customer showed up. Also didn’t wash hands after being on the floor. Then, we saw our food being boxed up by the same girl. I almost didn’t want to eat the food, but we already paid and waited 15-20 minutes. She called our order and we left. The food ended up being good, but I don’t know if we’ll be back after witnessing the disgusting things that go on behind the counter, as well as hearing similar stories on here. Management needs to step in with additional training on being sanitary and customer service oriented. Especially when everyone can see you preparing the food.
Got the tenders extra hot and it was the perfect level of hot if you like spicy foods. They were not kidding about them being hot! Cheese fries were also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back
The cashier with the leg sleeve tattoos is rude as hell. Acted like it was an inconvenience for me to want to order food even though i was the only person in line. I specifically asked for a side of sauce and when my food came out i asked him where the sauce was and he said it would be an extra $.54. Not that much of a charge but still i had asked for it originally. Then when i told him i had asked for it when i ordered he said “okay have a good day” and walked away. One of the worst experiences ive ever had with a cashier. Food was alright and over priced. Staff is beyond rude as hell.
Excellent food and fellowship
Food was great! Chicken had great flavor and the fries were decent. I would say though, don’t let these people fool you if you’re a real spice head, the medium was barely spicy at all to me and I wish I would’ve got hot.
The extra hot chicken was way too hot. I ate half of eat with tears running down my face. I wasn't even hungry after that. However my kiddos had the plain and it was banging. Chicken makes chick fil a look like a mc chicken! Great location in the 66 Market and great staff. Glad this place exist thank you to the Creator/Owners
One of best chicken sandwich out there and it is spicy enough
