Just got the chicken fried steak. They need to call it Cocker Spaniel Surprise! Only thing worse than the mashed potatoes was the Cocker Spaniel Surprise!!! What a waste of money!!!!!!!!!
You do wait a while for ur food but it's hot and is delicious. Staff are sweet
I always get a chunk meal with Cucumber salad and Zucchini salad. So good
I really like the 3 chunk chicken.. I just wish y'all made grilled instead of fried.. but I know thats just me.. lol
4/4/22 Tried the catfish and broccoli grape salad at Charlie's for the first time. So glad I did, both were very good!Earlier 2022: Hubby & I both ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. The steaks were crispy on the outside & tender on the inside - perfect! The sides were cooked & flavored just right. The staff were friendly, upbeat & both of us enjoyed our interactions with each & every one. While this may not seem important to some people, hubby is notoriously anti-people, & commented 2 or 3 times how nice he thought one of the staff was. Win all the way around, Charlie's!
Their chicken is excellent and their sides are great. We went through the drive-through because their dining room was closed. Their chunks are much larger than nuggets and I really like that.
Ordered beans and cornbread dinner get home and no cornbread just a yeast roll. Would have went somewhere else if I would have known that I wouldn't get cornbread.
Haven't had Charles Chicken in a while and its still tasty. The 2 chunk snack was a nice light lunch and good value. Still have plenty of good sides to choose from and really friendly counter staff.
Never had a problem with Charlie’s chicken until last night, I ordered a beans and cornbread dinner and they failed to mention they were “out of cornbread.” So I get all the way home with my dinner to find out there’s no cornbread and instead a roll. Who wants to eat pinto beans with a roll??? No one. I called and talked to a manger, Dawn, who offered a refund and a very sincere apology. I get to Charlie’s the next day to receive that refund and a different lady, Jennifer, proceeds to tell me it’s not their fault that they ran out of cornbread. It is, however, your fault for not MENTIONING that you were OUT OF CORNBREAD. I would’ve ordered something else, no problem. I cannot believe the amount of disrespect they dished out for something that was their fault. Very disappointed in Charlie’s Chicken and their manager, Jennifer.??
My husband and I just left the memorial Charlie's chicken we ordered a snack liver that was supposed to come with a side and a roll a 7 peice nugget that was was supposed to come with 2 sides and a roll and a chicken fried steak that was supposed to come with 2 sides and a roll. We never got any rolls We were waited on by Donna and her rudeness towards us and her coworkers which I found out later one coworker was there for the first night at this location. I am sure he was helping out in that location. I want to give Donna a shout out it looks really bad on you when you treat your co workers so rudely! And you need to brush up on customer service. Your bad behavior caused us to not recieve our rolls and we were over charged for sides. But just so you know it's people like you that causes business to close down. Smh those young men acted more mature that you did.
