This is an excellent place to eat. The fish is really good and the sides are excellent! They have extra cheesy macaroni and cheese and the green beans are seasoned with bacon like they are supposed to be. I love the fat, pillowy fries too. I always get the Deluxe Platter, fish, fried shrimp and stuffed crabs with hush puppies. I get a grilled shrimp skewer add on which is delicious and worth the money. They were out of Lobster rolls. I had them once and they were awesome too.
It's drive-thru only and the menu is bits n pieces but it was really good fish only complaint we would have was that when my bf got a bite of the chicken it was raw omg omg he started throwing up instantly and after he was done with that he took it back up to the doors and told one of the nice lady's and she tool care of him well she gave him two more box's of fish two cheesecakes and a drink. But other than that great lady's there and fast service.
I'm not happy with the fact that I've come here on several occasions. I get that Covid is still around and they are trying to protect their worker by keeping the front locked. I'm bothered that the speaker doesn't work so at least if you order online like I've done they would know online orders and how to make accommodate. Then the manager was RUDE!
Just left Captain D in Tulsa on Admiral and that was the worst food I have had. We pulled up and they let us know the lobby wasn’t open but yet there was some go in.. we went through the drive up and got our meal handed to us then she came back and said it wasn’t ours. She hand it back to us but it took them a log time. We through half away cause we couldn’t eat it. It was all around bad experience.
Updated. Came to the Admiral street location and the order sign looks a little rough and the building looks old but don't let that that fool you. I got the number eight with fish and shrimp and it was completely awesome. The fish was hot and fresh and flaky. The shrimp was hot and fresh and a good size. I usually don't eat the fritters but these were hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly! Broccoli was fresh and soft, not over done. Fries were just ok but that didn't matter. I'm impressed this visit. Changed my prior message and stars to 5 star. Awesome meal
Ordered a supreme platter for me and my son to share. (He likes the chicken In it) he’s two years old. Paid $13 for it not to come with the chicken.. should’ve checked I guess before leaving the restaurant. I usually like captain D’s but not if y’all gonna short me on my food. Not cool…. Won’t be going back. Lost a loyal customer.
It's ok. My food wasn't too bad. The crabcake things were yummy, but had to deal with broken shell pieces while eating. I drive thru speaker is broken or something, no sign on it, so sat there like a dumb*sss for a minute. Other food was ok. My friends meal was disgusting to her though. The fish was soggy. It was ok..
The food actually tasted pretty good this time. It’s 50/50 chance so I got lucky ? The $30 Family Feast , is enough to feed 5-7 people plus quick and easy!
Nice fresh every time depends on staff's that is working that day and friendly clean ?? also close to white river if you know ? what i mean..
The fool was good and the employees was nice and polite and professional. I haven't had it in a long time and I enjoyed it
