Y'all, this is such a cute little diner. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. We didn't know what to order, so we were given the options - Friday June 10th was catfish as the special menu. Not sure if it's every Friday, but my spouse loved it.The waitress wasn't pushy whennee wanted to order - unlike other restaurants we have gone to, and she made sure we had all the fixings we need.The chicken fried chicken is delectable, but the fried mushrooms are amazing. Ask for some ranch, it's great to pair with the mushrooms.Thank you to Brookside - we will be back!

Stopped here while on a road trip and was not disappointed. My chicken sandwich was perfect. The fries were cooked just right, and the service was better than 98% of the places I've been to in my recent memory. I'll be back next time I'm passing through!
100/10 would recommend. The flavors were so rich, but they weren’t overwhelming. It really felt like a home-cooked meal. The waitress lady was so sweet, it just felt like I was talking to a friend. Love the home-like atmosphere and amazing quality food. The prices are extremely reasonable, and I’ll definitely be back!
My first time there, and they were just robbed the night before. Everyone was tired from cleaning up and had been working most of the night already, but you would never tell. I have to tell you that the food was excellent. I don't know if they infuse their biscuits with crack, or what, but the biscuits were amazing. The service was perfect and everyone was so friendly. This will definitely be a new breakfast place for us.
Excellent service and food. They accommodate our group of 15 for Sunday breakfast. No delays in service, all orders correct, hot, and brought out in a timely manner. Highly recommend by myself. And our coffee cups never ran dry.
When my friend introduced me to this diner, she says "I've never had anything I didn't like". I've eaten a few times now and would have to say I agree!Breakfast, good!Burgers, good!Service, good!
Stopped in for their special on Thursday, and was served a wonderfully cooked omelette, home fries and sourdough toast. The environment was peaceful, and I may very well have been the youngest person there that morning. Excellent food, excellent service! Seems to be very popular for takeout as well.

I'm definitely going back. Can't believe I got a FAT Reuben and okra for so cheap! Service was fast and friendly, food was hot and tasty, selection and price is riiiiiight in that sweet spot. Speaking of sweets, I'm coming back for more brownie pie and I'm bringing my friends!
