The waitress was exceptional. Very personable and so friendly. But the prices were crazy and the wait was too long for the time of day and after waiting for so long, the food was sub par at best. I got the carnitas street tacos and my friend got the enchiladas from the lunch menu. We got the guacamole made at the table for appetizer and we both got a soda. For this plus tip it cost me $50. That may not seem like a lot to some, but it sure was to me. I'm sure I will rest there again someday, but not anytime soon and not if I'm paying. ??
I've been here twice now. Once about a year ago and the second time last night. I left disappointed both times.The good: The salsa, chips, and queso. Good chips and salsa are vital for a Mexican restaurant, and Bravos has those. The drinks. I didn't order a drink last night, but did the first time and I remember enjoying it. The service was also good.The problems: The smell. There is a strange odor in this place. The prices. More expensive than most other Mexican restaurants. The food was just not good either time. It just was bland.I still have friends who like this place. I'd tag along if they wanted to go and maybe order chips and salsa and a margarita. But I don't think I'll be choosing to eat here on my own.
This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Tulsa. It's all super delicious, the staff is always friendly, the cocktails are wonderful and they have amazing fresh mad guac at your table. Me and my girlfriend go at least once a month.
THE SERVICE; OMG. ?? Mary, the owner was attentive and very charming. Along with staff! Her FRESH guacamole was exactly that! She brought out their different salsas. The fajitas with all the meats was very flavorful. Being hispanic I am very particular and my taste buds were satisfied!
Wonderful margs, food, & guacamole! Even gave my mom cake and a rose for Mother’s Day! We have been twice now & have had a wonderful experience both times! Best Mexican in Tulsa.
Everything that I saw being served, looked excellent. Salsa is a bit on the tomato-y side with no heat to speak of. The guacamole had amazing flavor with large diced pieces of purple onion, tomato, and cilantro throughout. Very filling and reasonably priced.
Visited for the first time on Cinco de Mayo! Was so much fun! The drinks and food were awesome and they had a great DJ playing great music! Owner was such a sweetheart. Can’t wait to go back
This is now my go to Mexican restaurant! We have been three times and it just keeps getting better. The food is hot and delicious, drinks are wonderful, service is outstanding, and restaurant is very clean. The first time we went because of COVID there was only one waitress and she still managed to give us excellent service. The last two times Louis (Lewis?) has been our server and he is excellent. Just Go! You won't be disappointed.
Bravos is always a hit! Their food is always fresh and their guacamole is made at your table the way you want it. I have personally hosted Baby Showers, Birthdays, and Bachelorette parties at this location. Just make sure you give them a heads up and they will get you taken care of! They have always done an amazing job at keeping up with the volume of people and the staff is always so nice. Highly recommend using Bravos for private parties or for a delicious lunch/dinner! :-)
