I have loved this place since I was little. I moved out of state for about 2 years and this is the one place i missed most. Not only do they have the best ice cream, malts, sundaes, floats whatever you can think of, they also have really really good food. My kids love their chicken tenders, and the hamburgers are sooo Good, it's hard to find a place tht makes the whole menu delicious. I even saw Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood at the 91dt Riverside location before, just shows you he's a true okie and has very good taste.
Horrible employee. Horrible attitude.I went to this Braum’s with people in my club. We were talking and laughing together. Then an employee looked at our direction and scowled. She said “you’re stupid” while we didn’t do anything to her. What a horrible way to talk to your customer! Then when she came near us. I said “excuse me ma’am” multiple times to clarify things. She ignored me and said “I don’t want to talk to you”. What kind of employee is this? Is it a culture thing at this location to disrespectfully talk to customers?
Horrible attitude! I went here with my friend group and we were talking together and laughing. An employee looked at us arrogantly and said something. One of my friends asked and she said ‘you’re stupid’. Then another friend of mine said there was a man tripping right when we were laughing. And that employee thought we were laughing at him. Anyway! You shouldn’t tell a customer ‘you’re stupid’ for whatever reason. When we called her to explain things, she said “I don’t want to talk to you”. Well, that’s even worse to treat your customers like that. That employee is young and I think she’s Zomi. Managers here should have trained their employees better.
I was headed to the airport to pick up my son. The wife wanted Braums, a Heath mix with vanilla ice cream to be exact. We pulled into quite a line at the drive through and I worried we may be late to airport. The line was very slow moving but after about what seemed like forever (probably 12 minutes) we got to the microphone to order. And the mixer was broken. No mix, no shakes, nothing we wanted so we pulled away. Apparently it burned up. Would have been cool if they put up a sign or someone ran out and told people. Would have saved some waiting and frustration. We did, however, make it to airport on time!
The food is decent and the ice cream is always good. However the customer service is horrendous and the cleanliness of this store is worse. The food prep area was very unorganized and dirty, the tables all had food or ice cream on them, and the floors were caked in ice cream and soda. You may get the food and drinks how you like them, but your customer service experience is most likely going to be sub par.
I love Braums. First stop I make when visiting Ok. Actually stopped in Joplin for my first cone. 3 more after I got to Tulsa. Wish we had one in Wi.
Horrible customer service at this location. We stood in line for 10 minutes no one bothered to acknowledge us. The prep area was filthy. We finally left and headed back to Owasso where we went to the Braum's location there. We were acknowledged immediately and taken care of within a minute. And of course everything we ordered was great. I rarely if ever write negative reviews however I feel bringing attention to this may help this location to improve.
Moving away from Oklahoma a few years ago, Braum's ice cream is one of the things I miss the most. SO good, and a bunch of different delicious flavors. If you're only coming here for ice cream and can look past the awful hamburgers, gaggles of middle schoolers, the sheer lack of hygiene behind the counter, and the apathetic teenage employees, this place is an easy 5-stars.
I ordered the $4.59 jr burger meal, as advertised on their big menu, and the old foreign lady kept ringing me up at $4.79. I said no, I want the jr burger meal for $4.59. She said the price went up. I asked why, she said she’s not a manager. After a few more requests for the jr burger meal I walked away from the rude lady.
Great food; really great ice cream; fairly comprehensive grocery; nice and friendly staff.
