We had Oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes, Red Snapper & Lobster. Everything was delicious. Maybe they could improve their sides and it would be fun if they had a couple of special drinks each night . I only saw wine & beer options
If you like seafood, this is one place you don't want to miss in Tulsa. My wife and I started our meal with the fried calamari. The breading was light and crisp and the calamari was tender. With just enough spice. My wife ordered the softshell crab and I ordered the grilled red grouper. We shared sides of hatch grits and crab risotto. The softshell crab breading was also light and crisp and the crab itself was moist. My red grouper was tender, flaky and moist. The grill spice on the grouper did not overpower. Instead, it brought out the taste of the grouper. Both our sides were worth ordering. The hatch chili in the grits was mild giving a rounded taste sensation. The risotto was creamy and the crab was sweet.
Was in Tulsa with my daughters, one lives there while my other daughter & I drove up to spend the afternoon together for my birthday! After spending a few hrs at River Spirt Casino. I took them to dinner, they made me choose what I wanted so going out of my regular choice of steak, I went with seafood. Let the one who lives there choose the place. She chose Bodean’s. When we arrived one of my daughters immediately felt underdressed, it’s an upscale restaurant in a very unassuming location. We called made a reservation on a Monday night, it wasn’t busy yet waited 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was amazing, she did everything to make sure the dinner was as good as it could be. There was a couple of “hiccups” but they were quickly rectified. When I didn’t think I could take another bite, she said oh you have to get your free birthday desert! She gave me the options, I chose the chocolate mouse with an Oreo crust. It was delicious, but one bite was all I could do at the time!No problem, she packed everything up for us. My daughter ordered the Fisherman’s Stew, she said it was one of the best meals she’s ever had! She’s a restaurant general manager, where she lives, so she knows food! I knew my husband would love that dish. I ask if it would traveled well if I ordered one to go, since we had to drive 2 hrs to get home that night. I felt bad knowing he had hotdogs for his dinner while we were enjoying a wonderful dining experience. Our waitress assured me it would. We had a wonderful meal & exceptional service at Bodean’s. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Plus the baked in house breakfast muffins were an unexpected treat! They were so Good! It was definitely a memorable evening for us. And that’s something money can’t buy! Hey Master Card should call us to make a commercial for them & bring back that slogan!!
Sitting in the entry area was actually better as it seemed quieter. Appetizers and main course was great. Service great. Pretty pricey but you get what you pay for. The Chilean Sea Bass was great. Our server (I think Shawna was her name) was pleasant and chatted with us for a bit. Enjoyable all around experience. For sure will return.
Absolutely the BEST classy restaurant I have ever encountered in A LONG TIME. The vibes were on point. The food was delectable, and honestly astounding to my taste buds. Everything was fairly priced, and by dessert I was stuffed.Every time I come to town, this will be the first place I go!
My personal favorite for Best Seafood Sandwiches and Market is in Tulsa, Oklahoma! Everyone is pretty cool and they have a Restaurant right next door, love their fresh oysters. Great for foodies!
Not only the best seafood restaurant in Tulsa, but hands-down the best restaurant. I look for any excuse to come here.
Great customer service, great environment, great quality. Definitely worth the price! (heads up the fisherman stew might be a big enough meal for 2 depending on how much you eat!)
What a wonderful oasis is the middle of Tulsa. Beautiful white table clothes, fabulous food and exceptional severs... could not ask for more. The menu is almost exclusively seafood, but they do recognize allergies to shellfish and do not cross contaminate... I had no issue and my husband got all the shellfish he could possibly want. Highly recommend for a fabulous dinner.
We have been going to Bodean for years...we went to celebrate our anniversary....it was so disappointing yesterday. I understand inflation...their prices sure do show it...I also understand covid has changed things...the crab legs we ordered were not going to be shelled...for 97$...they went ahead and shelled them...grateful for that...but...they were in pieces and shredded and barley warm and had shells throughout. I have never been able to eat all of them, until yesterday...I left hungry. At the end of the meal we were asked how it was and I said it was okay...she said just okay...I said yes...nothing else asked about it...they offered us a dessert for our anniversary (yay for them) which we declined...but appreciated the offer...a 260$ disappointing meal. We won't be back.
