LOVE. THIS. PLACE!! This little bakery is a well kept secret. With regular and gluten free options, anyone can find something to yummy! Not only are the rolls.and doughnuts tasty, the customer service was amazing! Above and beyond and aiming to please. We'll definitely be back!
I had the fruity pebbles donut and my son had 6 gluten free donuts. Good size and super yummy!
Incredibly disappointed considering I read the reviews carefully before actually getting some donuts for a family member with celiac disease. 1 donut was eaten when she had a flare up with swelling of the mouth and lips. Not true gluten free. Won’t be returning.
I tried this place twice before and was not impressed. However, this morning was different. Different as in really really good. The four shot latte was perfect, the chocolate donut was delicious and the sausage roll the best I've had. I will return and I hope it has turned the corner of consistency . Try it!
I like this place, presentation is good and their pastries even better.
Big baby donuts was such a neat little place! From the little mural on the outside to the wallpaper in the bathroom, the multicolor tables and the fantastic donuts. And more! They are within the Tulsa city limits, but they were easy to get to and parking was right in front. Were they the best donuts I’ve ever had? Maybe not, but the experience was fantastic.
Worst donuts we’ve ever eaten. I was hoping for a great, basic, glazed donut but even the most simple donut seems like they tried to do too much. They are dense, not fluffy or airy, and their glaze is not anything special. We tried a few different items and none were very good. Sausage roll was SO greasy and tough, like it had been sitting out for a very long time, even though we were there early. Not to mention, way overpriced. We paid $45 for 7 donuts, a sausage roll, 2 [expired] milks, and 2 bottles of water. Wasn’t worth disputing, as the worker already seemed confused enough that we didn’t mind for the GF and non-GF donuts to touch. The building is dirty and cold, both aesthetically and in terms of temperature; just an uncomfortable environment altogether. We most definitely will not be returning.
I really like you guys for the simple fact that you cant really find a vegan sausage roll anywhere else. You would be just as hard pressed to find a turkey sausage roll or a gluten free sausage roll. All of which I can enjoy on occasion. But you know what they say, Any job worth doing is worth doing right. So with that said I hope you will accept this slight criticism. The turkey sausage rolls which are a pregnancy craving of mine again could use some tweaking, again on the dough.? I know its gluten free and thats tougher but I also know the 1st one I had was soo much better than the last three I had which were somewhere in between stale and very very very dry. And they still cost the same...Secondly I've gotten the bear claw a couple of times and while the bread and icing ratios were on point both times. The cinnamon was in clumps and way way over powered the apple filling. No one enjoys large clumps of cinnamon filling their throat. It might even be a hazard recalling a high school dare.Anywho love you guys just hope these kinks get kicked out sooner rather than later so i can enjoy my fav donut place Completely ?
They get 5 stars for actually offering a variety of gluten free options that most other companies don’t even care about or try AND for their AMAZING regular donut dough!! We went at about 11 and they only had a few of the gf options left: 1 regular glazed, turkey roll, and breakfast bomb. I must have looked a little disappointed since I had been dreaming of trying the maple round, because a man behind the counter told another worker that he would cover the cost of the last gf glazed that I decided to get. That was extra awesome because it was my birthday and he had no idea! I ended up getting all 3 of the gf options that were left to try. I’m SO glad I got the glazed because the dough it’s made of is terrific!! It was better than any other donut (gluten or not) that I’ve had before, rivaling only Krispy Kreme, but still completely different! It was crispy like a funnel cake type texture on the outside, yet airy and super soft on the inside!! Hard to believe it’s gluten free!! I will say that the gf savory options I got were very disappointing because it’s dough was dry and very thick even after warming up. The meat was good, but when you have the incredible dough you use on the sweet gf donuts, I don’t understand why not use it on the savory options? That would be amazing if possible! If I hadn’t eaten my delicious regular gf glazed so fast, I would have tried wrapping some of it around the turkey dog! We tried getting there earlier the next day and scored a gf maple round and gf cinnamon roll. I think the cinnamon roll uses the same dough as the savory options and I didn’t like it, but the maple round was heaven on a plate!
I have to say that Big Baby’s has one of the best sausage rolls I’ve ever tried! The bread tasted fresh and it was hot too! The breakfast bombs are worth a try as well.
