Tonight we had family in town and Baxter’s Interurban Grill was next to their hotel. We walked over and sat at the patio. They were allowed to bring their 2 dogs, also! We didn’t realize we were there 15 minutes before they closed but they told us to come on in. We had the best server. She was so personable and made sure that my Mom and I could eat here despite having food allergies. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! We had a wonderful time catching up! The owner even came out and chatted with us for a while! If you have a gluten intolerance or dairy allergies, you can eat here! Took a group of clients there the other night for dinner on the patio. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. This is a hidden gem downtown. Going back for another round with family to order a steak like a couple of the other guys got. My fish and chips were superb. Probably the best fried fish I’ve had in years. Congrats to the owner for keeping the quality up over the years. Highly recommended!
Food and service was amazing, price was great. One of the few places that was up to date, but could hear your self think or talk with rest of ur table . Will be back thanks Craig !! Super food
A group of our friends meet once a month for dinner. This month we decided to change things up and went to Baxter's Interurban. The staff was incredible and bent over backwards to make our evening enjoyably. They even rearranged the dining room to accommodate our group of about 15. The food was amazing and service was impeccable.
I've been eating here for years but have never left a review. Food is good, service is good, one of my favorite locally owned restaurants. A personal favorite menu item is the trout salad. Added plus for downtown, free parking!
My parents celebrated their 35th anniversary here in the private room you can rent. It was a nice room/bar area. The food was pretty good too. And our wait staff were great.
1st time, great lunch service. Amazing, excellent soup. Most boring, plain sandwich I've ever had. I'll be back some day.
We did a pickup order tonight at Baxter's. I have a gluten allergy and Baxter took my order personally to ensure it was safe for me to eat. Once the food was cooked, he brought the food over, looked it over with me and confirmed it was gluten free.
Had a class reunion (60th), about 50 people. Even with a crowd, the service was great and the food excellent. The amount of food and quality and value blew us away. Would highly recommend.
