awesome place awesome staff

Friendly service, tasty and fresh BBQ and fried okra. What’s not to like?

Food was great, staff was friendly and the pickle bar was an added bonus.

Let me start by saying, this review is not to be confused with the Albert G'S at Tulsa Hills. Our experience today at the downtown Albert G's was odd & uncomfortable. The visit started with us being seated by a very unfriendly young lady, who is unfortunately our server. I looked up at her to give her my water order & was shocked at the angry glare coming back at me. Myself & my adult son go out to the car to grab a sweater & blanket because it was so cold in there. My husband who is now cold ask if the fan above us could be turned off by a different employee, who gave him an annoyed eye roll. A fan was turned off, but not the one above us. So I kindly let the server know, again an eye roll & the fan was NEVER turned off. Everyone in there was cold. My meat was ok, but our sweet potato waffle fries were so hard & dry, we couldn't even eat them & I couldn't wait to have them. The beans were bland even after I spiced them up with bbq sauce & pepper. I literally stopped eating & had to go outside to warm up. There was obviously some internal employee strife that made it even more uncomfortable. My husband shared this information with the manager who said he was aware it had been going on for two weeks, yet indifferent & laughed. Odd!We like to support downtown Tulsa as often as possible, but we won't be supporting this Albert G's any longer. Visit the Albert G'S in Tulsa Hills instead, they're worth the drive.

We drove an hour here for the reviews and photos and unfortunately was disappointed. The waitress we had was extremely nice and so sweet. The bbq sauce on the table was really good. The spicy bbq sauce wasn’t spicy. But it was all still good.I got the Route 66 nachos and they were cold. There was BARELY any brisket. For $11 I was expecting more. I added bbq sauce to mine and along with the salsa it was good. But it wasn’t worth the price. My father in law and husband got a rack of ribs and they were dry!! The potato salad was good but the Mac and cheese tasted like it was from a high school cafeteria. The kids loved their kids meals and our teenage son said his sliced brisket sandwich wasn’t good. It had no flavor.Sad to say we won’t be back. I’m from Texas and have had better. I feel like this place could tweak a few things and it’d be great but it’s definitely not worth the reviews it has.

Big fan of the food and prices. The pickle bar is a highlight and one that other bbq joints could emulate.3-meat dinner is the best value by far.

To start off with this place was the most amazing server you could possibly have Lan, her name is Alana but she prefers to be called LAN. As soon as we got sad she got our drinks swiftly and took our orders right as we were ready. I ordered the three piece meat and I could totally say that the ribs were the best out of all three meats. My wife ordered the nachos which unfortunately I did not take a picture because she ate them too quickly lol. They were served with a white cheddar and she ordered the brisket and pulled pork to be dazzled over the top. This is a good spot! Family friendly and a place just has an all-around good atmosphere.

Drinks and free appetizer was awesome. The entree on the other hand was not great. The 3 meats we chose was dry unfortunately, brisket, pulled pork and 3 ribs. The fried okra was not good at all. It's sliced okra deep fried in batter and all I could taste was fried batter. We wasn't told about the pickle bar until towards the end of our meal. Not happy at all about that. Probably would not return due to dry bbq meats. This makes me miss dallas and las vegas bbq alot.

We had a great film dinner here and it was great. The perfay was an interesting item. My wofe really enjoyed it.

I work down the street from Albert G's downtown, so I grab lunch here often. The food is always good, but the customer service and friendliness of the staff is unmatched. They pay attention to detail and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Keep it up!
