food is like something from a horrible tv dinner. food is pricey so you would expect quality.what they called steak was processed meat like put of a pot pie. when i complained the manager said sorry you feel that way and walked off horrible customer service. even my small grandchildren held up their french fries and said this is yucky
Quality really dropped since the pandemic. In addition to the removal of several amazing menu items, the items they do carry still fall into low quality or attention. With fewer items the food should be better but it's just poor.Occasionally it's delicious. Great chips and salsa
We chose the restaurant as it was near our hotel. The menu offered a lot of variety. Our waiter was superb: very friendly and provided us a take home bag of chips and the pineapple salsa that we liked. This was our first time eating at an Abuelos. Friends had recommended it as they were familiar with this chain when they lived in Texas. We would highly recommend.
3/17/22 6pm. The food was good but cold. The service was terrible. brought pork instead of steak and tried to convince us it was steak. So slow every order was cold. Had to ask several times for the same thing. They should be ashamed to cash that $120 check. Zero tip.
Went last night with my son. The server was amazing, but we both woke up today feeling pretty bad. The food tasted ok at the time, but definitely looked like it had been under heat lamps for a bit. Probably won’t go back.
