Well, it is a college town with college town food. Prices are good, food is decent, and the atmosphere screams college town gimmicky Mexican food restaurant. The server seemed like we were a nuisance and was not interested in serving us. Requests for refills were met with sharp sighs, and a Yeah, sure and a 10 minute wait every time. Chips would be empty for a long periods before they stopped by and a request for more was met with the same style of grace as the request for more drinks.The food saved it though. I will be back. My son is going to be attending college, and this is will a popular haunt for the next 4 years.
Cool atomsphere, nice bar area and patio area. Food was spot on, delicious. Server Ty was great. Margaritas were very good. Only draw back was there wasnt enough wait staff. One server for the entire patio and bar area, and couldn't get served in the table area of bar. Only served food at bar itself. But that problem is everywhere in the service area.
We were in town for a ballgame. We were told to give Mexico Joe’s a try. We were sat down immediately. We waited almost 10 minutes before someone came and took our drink order. It wasn’t even our waiter. A couple was able to be seated and get their drinks before our orders were taken. The food wasn’t that great. Our drinks were constantly empty. We had to ask for silverware twice. When we checked out, I noticed a mistake on my bill after paying. When I asked to have it corrected, our waitress ran away the building trying to stay away from us. When she came back she said “it was a mistake on both of our parts.” I understand. I should’ve noticed the mistake before I paid. She came back a second time and very rudely asked “well what do you want me to do about it?” She should’ve just given me my refund. I will not be coming back here.
They need someone new to seat the public, told the young man I did not want to set in the center of room and didn't mind waiting for booth, he wanted a phone number and I asked him to just call [ut our name and was told he couldn't do that, went to Eskimo Joe's and they had no problem calling out our name. Not the first time this young man has lost our business because of his rudeness but won't happen again, I will ask for the manager next time. Food is always good and so is the wait staff.
Good food in a casual, laid back atmosphere. The service was great & the cost was reasonable. We enjoyed having our meal with a personal security detail as well!
Wait staff was amazingly good but the food wasnt to my liking. Just my opinion. Nothing wrong with it. It was hot and fast but not very tasty. The party I was with was about 30 people or more . I was very impressed with the waitstaff and management!!
Had a delicious margarita recommended by my fantastic, funny and friendly waitress definitely was alot of bang for a few bucks when my food arrived i was questioning how it would fit on the rather large table and 3rd of the way through my quesadilla i accepted defeat and my incredible waitress was there with 2 go boxes
