Frankly, I can make better breakfast at home which is usually the theme from IHOP, the only saving grace is it's open 24 hours. Other than that, the food quality in my experience has been mediocre AT BEST, and I honestly have not had worse hashbrowns which is my favorite part of breakfast. The service and people are absolutely wonderful, but the food is just IHOP, if you know what I mean.
The AC was broken on one half of the dining area. We waited 25 minutes to be seated (which I'm not upset with, that's pretty standard for a Saturday). Once seated our drinks were brought fairly quickly. However when we tried to order, everything we wanted wasn't available. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. I don't usually leave bad reviews for a place bit they should have told us upfront that the full menu wasn't available. We'd have gone somewhere else instead of wasting our time.
Took almost 45 minutes to get our food and I was done with my food and never received my extra egg I ordered before I was done eating..was so disappointed with the wait time. The waitress was friendly and knew what she was doing ..maybe they need to rethink the cooking staff and move people around to better fit the area...just a suggestion
Waited at the front for 10 minutes, and then a server came up and gave a big long spill about how they are short staffed, and the manager wasn't there. Instead of giving the big long spill they could have just cleaned the table, and seated us. When we got to the table there was coffee all over the seat, and we had to flag someone down to wipe it. We waited about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did it was cold, and I was missing my pancakes. The server said it was taking a little longer to make my pancakes, but when I finally got the pancakes they were cold. She even brought our ticket to the table at least 5 minutes before my pancakes. I guess now the servers take the payments, but we had no idea, because she dropped off the ticket and left. We were never checked on to see if we needed anything else, and other workers walked by us standing with our ticket in hand, and never once said anything about paying at the table. This experience was awful, and if I could give it 0 stars I would. We will never be returning to IHOP.
As many places are experiencing, not many want to work, leaving the ones that do show up to handle the workload alone.Pretty rough breakfast. One cook, very slow, and the poor waitress doing her best to keep us satisfied. Definitely not her fault, she was doing all she could. 2 hours to get eggs and bacon for two people is way too long.
Worst experience I have ever had at any IHOP location, we waited to be seated for 20 minutes even though there were plenty of empty tables in the building. Our waitress stopped taking our order so she could speak to her friend, and then had us waiting over 45 minutes for 2 items. In that time no one came to check on us or let us know when the food would be out, walked out without paying. Never coming back and would not recommend
Definitely a new waitress but I have to say she was very good for being new. Food was good and hot. Everything was out in good time. I recommend them for a good stillwater breakfast restaurant.
Good food. Good service. Hot and fresh. Wasn't very busy but I was impressed. Definitely a great breakfast spot in stillwater.
This place is reeeeally hit or miss, mostly miss. Last time we were there we waited almost an hour for a curbside order. The time previous, I’d ordered a melt, essentially a glorified grilled cheese, and I kid you not the cheese inside the bread was not only NOT melted, it was ICE COLD and falling out everywhere. It was disgusting and I couldn’t finish eating it. I only come back here because of my husband and the lure of the pancakes.
The food was good and the wait staff was friendly and attentive but it always takes a half hour or more after we order to get our food. If you have at least an hour and half to kill on a meal then absolutely go. Again the food is good it just takes a while to get it
