Went there this evening with my wife and daughter. Five workers sitting down at the front of the restaurant. We got seated and were not waited on. Nearly 20 minutes go by and I’m thirsty and starving. I finally ask the bus boy if he could get us something to drink and of course he couldn’t. We got up and left. So we go to Mexico Joe’s and get GREAT service.
I don't know why the management didn't want to put shaded umbrellas up on the patio for mother's day ? The server did her best with what she had so we tipped well but we wouldn't be excited to go back.We asked to sit outside and the host was trying to keep everyone's server section straight so she wouldn't seat us in one of the five shaded tables but could only seat us in full sun. The server was awesome and put an umbrella up for us.I ordered La Hawaiiana with just shrimp and it came out with a big dollop of ground beef on top of the shrimp, which we don't eat so I sent it back. They scooped the beef off and returned the same plate to me.
I hesitated to add this review because El Tapatio used to be great. Unfortunately it seems to have fallen victim to shortcuts. We visited Saturday just before Memorial Day. I had the Burrito Grande and my wife had the Taco salad. In both of our dishes the meat was sub par. Her ground beef in her Taco Salad was filled with grisil and hard to eat. The stake tips in my burrito while seasoned were so tough they tore the burrito trying to get a bite. We understand the temptation to use cheaper cuts of meat in these tough times, however it may save you a dime and cost you $$$$$.
Good service, nice interior and an great view made my lunch an excellent experience!
Amazing service! We were in a last minute crunch for a work function and another establishment last minute would not accommodate us. The manager was amazing! Not only did they accommodate but they came in and chatted with us, service was spectacular, they took pictures for us and were so helpful! Thanks for everything BEST IN TOWN!
The food was awesome! Really loved the queso it was delicious. The chips were also perfect.

The wait staff was attentive and courteous, but in my opinionThe quality of the food has gone drastically downhill over the past few months. I don't recommend anything with shredded chicken from the menu.The shredded beef is a much better choice, the dishes cut beef we're delicious but tough and extremely hard to chew.
Worse than I remember. Gave us chips and salsa, small container to share for 5 of us, and there was a taco shell mixed in for some reason. Carne Asada was so tough to eat or cut even with the steak knife. Paid for 2 pitchers of margaritas ($19 each) and it tasted like cheap lemonade. Quite expensive for a lemonade. Customer service was so-so, the waitress at least tried, not the most proactive. Not going to go back or recommend.
Superb service at a very busy time and delicious salsa! Loved my enchilada and hubby loved his street tacos. The place is very nice and they really made a fun atmosphere.
