Stopped in looking for some breakfast off a random google map search. And wow was we surprised. Good Mexican style breakfast we had there burritos and they are huge. Lots of flavors and the staff where super friendly
100% recommend! Their chips, salsa, queso & street tacos were so tasty- plus I had our order split so I could take one bag home & my parents could take their home and they were so accommodating & nice!! May be my new favorite Mexican place!!
This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Stillwater I eat there every day as well as all my employees. The food is extremely flavorful and clean, I never would’ve imagined authentic Mexican food and coffee drinks would go together but they have a wonderful blend of both I personally like the iced vanilla latte it is bold but not bitter, with just the right amount of sugar. I would highly encourage you to give them a try.

Cafe Mona, in my opinion, is the best place in Stillwater to get your Mexican food fix. The servings are absolutely perfect, the chips and salsa are homemade and very good, the service is wonderful, the atmosphere is a little small but cozy and overall the experience is great. I recommend the "Alex Comal", it's my personal favorite.

Not real Mexican. Employees using hands in kitchen touching everything in sight from uncooked food to cooked food!! The worst chips and salsa I have ever eaten. Glass was empty the entire time we were there. Owner/manager was rude when I said something to her... Never again..
Cafe Mona is the best place for brunch, lunch, or coffee!!!! The coffee is hands down my favorite, especially if you need dairy free options. The food never disappoints. Miriam and her staff are the absolute sweetest!
I recently visited Cafe Mona for breakfast with a friend. We've been there many times and the food is always great. The first time I went, the server got confused and forgot my coffee. He argued that I didn't order a coffee at all. Mona took her sweet time getting around to making mine... serving several cups ahead of me. By time it came out we were nearly done eating so I told them I didn't want the coffee unless there was no charge. They obliged and actually took one of the meals off our ticket, too. When I paid, I doubled the ticket in the tip line. No biggie. That was several months ago and I've had no complaints since, until now. When we visited the last time, things were much different. My friend ordered a sandwich with an egg on it. When asked how she wanted it cooked, she said over medium. She also asked for avocado on it. When the sandwich came there was no avocado and the egg was VERY undercooked. She politely asked for the avocado and the server argued that it must be underneath everything else (it wasn't). She also asked for the egg to be cooked more. Shortly thereafter the owner came out with another egg and informed her that she would no longer be fixing their mistakes because "every time you come in here there is a problem and you complain". I can tell you this with certainty... she has never once complained or sent any food back! Yes, I complained once previous but big deal. That had nothing to do with her. She made excuse after excuse as to why they're unable to cook eggs properly. She continued to berate and belittle my friend in front of other customers until I'd finally had enough and told her to leave us alone and get away from the table. She refused payment for our food and we left without eating. This was one of the most despicable displays of interaction with a customer that I have ever seen and I will never give that woman my money again. Absolutely pathetic! She should be embarrassed and ashamed and I challenge her to dispute anything in my review. If she does, then she is a liar as well.
