Everything was great but the waitress was rude.My husband and myself celebrated our 43 anniversary on Thursday. Our anniversary was on the day before. We don’t go out to eat very much. So I was looking forward to our outing. The shrimp in garlic sauce was perfect and Donnie’s Sirloin Steak was perfect. Donnie says their aren’t enough beef choices on the menu lol. The waitress did her job checking on us making sure we didn’t need any refills or anything else. As we were finishing up on our dinner there was another waitress at another table right behind me and she asked the couple if they were ready for desert and continued to tell them what was on the menu. About 10 minutes later I had finished eating my meal but as I was finishing up the waitress brought us a handful of chocolate thin mints and said she hoped we enjoyed our dinner and the service and how would we like to pay. I know I have a weight problem but that was just plan rude and it wasn’t closing time either because we left around 7:30 pm. I think I will have to think about going there again especially since she spoiled our anniversary dinner.
Danny is the best waiter ever!!! He was so attentive and just excellent. My family went to dinner and he kept the salad and breadsticks and drinks full. He made sure our order was input quickly and everything was done in a timely manner.I’m super picky when it comes to recommending waiters. He was witty and we enjoyed him!If you go to the Owasso Olive Garden request him!
Back in December, I visited this restaurant. Our waiter gave us back our $25 gift card, and told that there was a balance of $4.33 on it. When we tried to use it again a few weeks later, we were disappointed to realize that the waiter at that time had taken the $4.33 from our card for his tip even though we left him a cash tip on the table.Yesterday, we visited this restaurant again. To our disappointment, our waitress gave us our gift card back, and underlined in red (see the photo) and told us that there was a balance of $4.33 left on our card. Later that evening, I called the number of the back of the Olive Garden gift card to find out that only $2.33 was left on the card. I realize we're not talking about large amounts of money, but I'd like to know that waiters and waitresses are honest. When we patronize these restaurants, I'd like to be able to say that I trust them with them with my money and handle transactions honestly. Needless to say that I am very appalled at the fact that a national chain would steal from you. It goes to show that you can't trust anyone. I would expect better from Olive Garden Restaurant #1778 in Owasso, Oklahoma.
My mother and I went for a light lunch after visiting the gym for their soup and salad. It was fairly crowded but we were seated right away. The service was wonderful and attentive without hovering. The soup and salad never disappoints! I love thir minestrone soup and the salad is always perfect. Great place for a quick bite before shopping!
I just ordered Chicken Alfredo. It was dry. There was no Alfredo sauce on it. I have always enjoyed Olive Garden. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Stop being so tight with the portion of sauce.
Every year, our small church takes our widows out for dinner around Valentine's Day. (We don't want them to be alone, and they LOVE Olive Garden.) Olive Garden has always worked with us and even taken our church check (when they don't normally take checks). Food is great, service is excellent, and management is thoughtful. Thank you!!
I gave it a two star only because normally the service is better. This was a universal opinion at the restaurant today that the service was absolutely horrible. Trays of food were left in front of another guest table that they had to get off by themselves because the waitress didn’t do it. One table left before they got their food. We never got a refill, the drinks we ordered never came, to go boxes never came, asked three times for a check, manager never made his rounds, we left cash because paying with a card was impossible. When we said something about the service the waitress got frustrated and never came back. To make things worse was there had to be more people working than tables being served. But no one was working efficiently. If I was an owner I’d be very disappointed because there were no excuses…..
Great food. Great service. It took much longer than it should have for our dinner to come, but when it was ready the manager brought it out to us and made it right with free dessert. That was not necessary, but he went above above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our dining experience. It was very much appreciated. Our server was super friendly and a very good server!
My family dined here tonight and had the most outstanding service! We were a party of !!!25!!! and they all took such great care of us and the manager Ray was so kind! 10/10 would recommend and our huge family will definitely be back!
We went for our daughters 11th birthday. She picked. The food was horrible. The service was awful. They brought her the dessert she picked out to her and the waitress said they ran out of people to sing her happy birthday. Are you freaking kidding me!?!?!?! We will NEVER come back! Total disappointment! They did not have half of my meal available and still charged us full price! Do not go here!! I would’ve taken it up with the manager but my husband wouldn’t let me. He knows me all too well! Despicable in my opinion!!!!!! Too squishy too salty just gross. They couldn’t redeemed themselves with the birthday to put a smile on her face but NOPE!
