Placed on order online to pick up through the pickup window. While waiting for my order to be brought out to my car, I noticed an incorrect card was charged online even though I know I had selected a different card (not a big deal but online ordering issue #1). Received my food, drove home and realized that I was missing the chips I ordered, caesar dressing for the joke of a side salad I received, and a bread bowl for my soup. I live minutes away so I called the store to let them know of my missing items. After telling her what exactly was missing, the girl on the phone read through my order and argumentatively told me that I did not order a bread bowl (although I was certain that I did and the online system was having an issue registering it). No solution was offered and I had to ask if I could come pick up the missing items. Basic customer service skills would teach someone that some sort of solution should be offered whether it’s the fault of the restaurant or customer.Aside from the missing items that I addressed over the phone, my sandwich was also made incorrectly and was a quarter of a sandwich vs half. Luckily what little food I did receive tasted good but definitely not worth the trouble or $33.
I'm sad to say that my opinion has changed since McAlister's has moved to a smaller location with less seating. It's a colder, less comfortable restaurant now. On Mother's Day, they have one cashier. I don't understand the move to a smaller location. There is no mobile pick up spot either. I ordered mobile and had to wait in line to pick it up. Big downgrade, McAlister's.
5 minute operation that takes 30+ minutes!!! It's soup and bread bowls. Considering neighboring restaurants have less than 10 minute waits this was a problem for much more complex meals. Laughable...good but is it worth your time!!!
After not having a very good experience a little over a year ago. We decided to try again and we're disappointed again. 1st we ordered through the app. App was not updated to their new address. I pick up our food and drive back home which we live 30 minutes away. My wife ordered a bacon avocado sandwich. There was no avocado on her sandwich and the bacon was under cooked. She ended up throwing it away. We both deleted the app and will not be going back. Ever.
So definitely not a great experience this time. Got home and realized not only did we not get the tortilla chips for the soup but they gave us what they called a "half a sandwich" more like a quarter of a sandwich! Absolutely ridiculous to pay $18 and get this small of a sandwich. Even the "half" soup wasn't filled up all the way. Super disappointed
We ordered two classic chicken sandwich meals w/two sides and two kids meals for lunch. When we arrived home we were missing two of our sides and an entire kids meal. Food was good, but disappointed that you can't get a complete order correct for the cost you pay. The front of house staff seemed lost and didn't know the menu. Please use caution at your own risk when ordering at the Owasso, OK location!!!
I had such a wonderful experience here! I want to give a shoutout to an employee I believe was named Katie because she was phenomenal. My niece wanted a cookie, but I was using a gift card and we were just a few dollars short, so we took the cookie off… but to our surprise Katie brought it to us when she delivered our food to the table. She said it was on the house and my niece had the biggest smile all day. The food was also great! Thanks McAlisters!

Walking past the windows, towards the front door, one can see that the outside was unkept and that the inside tables are covered in dishes and whatnot. As soon as one walks inside the front door, there is a potent smell of old, stale, unfiltered air; like what an old, rundown abandoned house might smell like. It was awful! There was a young girl at the counter, but then she went to the back for a few minutes, instead of taking my order. Meanwhile, looking around, I see that the entire lobby is filthy. There were plenty of people working there, yet nobody is cleaning the lobby. The menu is incomplete, as there are food items that they sell that are not listed on the menu. I know this because I asked about the missing items. Hopefully your new location, at the old Pizza Hut location will be batter taken care of.
Granddaughter got a bowl of broccoli soup she said it was good. I got the chef salad and it was a big waste of money. I had to dig to find anything EXCEPT lettuce in it. Finally found a really small bite of bacon, two small pieces of ham, it did have shredded cheese mixed in. It was a to go order, so didn’t know until I got home. So glad I got a tasteful dressing, the chili lime, at least that made all that lettuce more flavorful. Service was fast but I guess it should be if they just throw lettuce in a container and send you out the door
