Great food as always, been going here religiously for 15-20 Years.The El Guapo is amazing everytime!
My biggest complaint is that they don't have a gluten free menu. The server was a big help about advising us about what did and didn't have flour. There was separate prep for gluten sensitive and it is a shared kitchen. More and more people are getting diagnosed with celiac so I just think they should offer a little more guidance for gluten sensitive customers.
The chimichangas were dry and not seasoned enough. The chips and salsas were not spicy at all the green one was sweet, the white one was ranch and the red one was very mild. Great service and fast !
We ordered fajitas for two. Not sure what the meat was but not skirt steak like you buy pre seasoned to cook. This was more like a stew meat.
Since moving to the area, we have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant with little success until last night. El Tequila was a great surprise. I ordered chicken fajitas, a fairly simple dish. You would be surprised in how that simple dish can be tasteless. Not the case last night. The meat was juicy, the onions were caramalized. Yummy. Also, most margaritas taste like limeade. El Tequila’s were good. The hot sauce was also good. My top three parameters were exceeded. Overall, we have found our go to for Mexican food.
Food and service both were excellent definitely was a 5 star experience for me !
The complimentary salsa tray was amazing!! This is hands down the absolute best Mexican food I have ever eaten!!!
When seated I ask to be moved because of a large group I was seated next to (with covid trying to maintain social distancing) I was moved per reques just to have another large group seated next to me. They also charge for extra salsa.
Honestly one of the fastest clean mmmmgood reasturants
