Food is great but the service is lacking. I forgot to order my flautas a la carte so my plate came with beans and rice and of course the flautas we in it. The server said sorry and took my plate but the waitress brought it back and said you didn't order it a la carte and made me keep it. Another party at my table ordered the same thing and swapped me a flauta that wasn't bean soaked for mine. My spouse ordered veggie fajitas add chicken. The chicken came on the side and they charged $5.99 for 1 breast. Later another waitress came and asked if 1 of the 4 of us needed a box and left before the 2nd person could ask for one too. Not sure if it is a language barrier or lack of training so just beware.
I am here at least once a month, and they are ALWAYS the same happy, smiling, cheery, amazing staff you can have when dining out!!! Shout out to Ellie, you're amazing!!!
As someone who grew up on the border of Texas and has traveled around Mexico, I have to say that they have some of the best Pozole and Menudo I’ve ever had not to mention their Micheladas. I’d definitely recommend this place, I’m just saddened that after living hear for 16 years I just had there food for the first time a few months ago.
Came in with my 9 year old son. Overall clean cozy environment. Son likes the mild salsa I very much enjoyed the hot salsa even though I did not find any spice to it, the flavor was there. He had beef burrito with cheese sauce ( his standard order from anywhere) and I had the enchilada suisse and it was well above average. Rice unremarkable the refried beans where tasty. I would say all in all I walked out full and happy with our choice to come here and if I find myself in the area I will stop in again!!!
Read the reviews and looked forward to our visit, but a warning sign was taped to the window outside stating they had no alcohol. Disappointing… so we chose a different restaurant.
Outstanding service and food. Could use a little bit more of a beer selection and a bit pricey for a beer but the quality of the food and service make up for it. Tamales are amazing. Not on the menu so have to ask for them.
Probably the best place to eat in the area. Best Mexican food ever! The quality and taste of every meal is just something to make you go back every day.
