We had never had a meal in the dining room until this visit. I ordered beef enchiladas and my wife had fajita tacos. The enchiladas were covered in cheese but no sauce on them. My wife’s tacos had way too much cheese on them also. Overall it was very disappointing and also very expensive. The service was good

Service was great, we had a crew of 9 and came in at 11:30, no problem seating us, but now I know why....My entrée (Barbacoa fajitas) lacked flavor and the sides (cilantro rice and black beans) were definitely nothing to write home about either. Even the salsa was lackluster. All in all, the staff did a great job, but for the $$$, you would be better off going somewhere else. May I suggest Ted's.

I’ve called 3 times to this restaurant to fix this dispute on my card. My bill was only $20 and they charged me $69. Just called again and was told that they’re in a “dinner rush” and couldn’t help me at the moment. Service was great WHILE I was there but not afterwards. Do better Uncle Julio’s!!!!

I should have read the reviews on Trip Advisor first and saved my husband and me from a 2+ hour car ride and an expensive failure of a meal. A good friend recommended Uncle Julio’s in OKC, a friend I usually trust on food advice. The Swirls were just the usual and were fine. We both ordered the Tex-Mex Combination Plate consisting of a beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, beef taco, beans, and rice. The chicken was between refrigerator cold and room temperature. I had one bite of that and my husband maybe two. The beef enchilada was room temperature so that was mostly left on our plates too. Not even the cheese had been heated. How do you pour cheese that is almost cold??? The taco was edible simply because we were hungry but again, it was room temperature or cooler. I ate the small amount rice (and I do mean small) and one bite of the beans. How do you even review Tex-Mex when it hasn’t been heated. The meals came pretty quick so I don’t think the plates had been sitting out long enough to get that cool. We left most of the food on our plates, finished our drinks, paid the bill, and promptly got out of there. We arrived on a Sunday about 11:30 a.m. and judging from his speech and demeanor, our server appeared to have just rolled out of bed after a very rough Saturday night. This is not an inexpensive place and we certainly expected better. We won’t be going back nor will we be recommending this place to anyone. On a positive note the restaurant is pretty, in a good location, and appeared clean ( several of the reviews commented on uncleanliness). Or been disappointed in restaurants before but seldom enough to write a review like this. I just hope to save others from making the same mistake.

According to the reviews this is more like a dine in Chipotle with the bad service but nice location. Almost every to go order is not ready, I've waited 30 minutes before, I'd understand if it was during peak hours but this time the place was empty. BTW I'm Mexico and I cook from scratch and this is not scratch, I'd go to a Ted's or chelinos before I come here.

The view from this restaurant is spectacular. The food is great—specifically the meat + fresh tortillas! Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They offer indoor + outdoor seating. My main reason for 4/5 stars is because the bathrooms didn’t feel as clean as the rest of the restaurant and the wait time to sit outside was estimated at 40m due to low staffing. We decided to sit inside but had 3 small kiddos and 2 babies so it felt a little loud. However these are not major issues and we were happy with our experience and quality of food!

We were there most recently with family on my son's birthday and we were treated very well the food was delicious the waiter was very professional and very helpful which we appreciate and we would recommend this place to any and everybody thank you

really good food and service was pretty expensive but worth it in my opinion good job definitely will be back

This was our second visit to the OKC location. We enjoyed the out door dining for lunch. Our server, Brilee was excellent. Helpful, pleasant and attentive. The food was good. I was disappointed they did not have shrimp tacos. At other locations (not in Oklahoma) they do have them. I ordered the enchiladas (cheese and chicken). The cheese enchilada was thin, not much cheese taste, mostly chili topping taste. The chicken enchilada was very good. My husband ordered the vegetable fajitas and he enjoyed those. All in all good. Very expensive for a lunch. Not sure because of the price we will return. We understand all things are costly now.

Second try delivered same results. Waited almost an hour for a beer. Check was incorrect. Food was brought out incorrect. Extremely slow and poor service. Will not be going back for a third try. I honestly don’t know how this establishment is still in business.
