The Criterion is a great place to go see a show of any kind. The atmosphere is always nice, the venue itself is nice, and the bathrooms are always clean! They've got upstairs where you can stand. At the concert that I went to tonight the waters were $5. That's probably the only complaint that I have about the whole place.

It's ok. The seats are not comfortable at all. It's like sitting through a high-school assembly. The layout is kinda weird. You have to fight a wave of people at the bar line just to get to your seat. The bar needs to be on the side of the place. It also took them FOREVER to get people through security and inside for our show. It took over an hour and a half so our 9:30 show turned into an 11:00pm-ish start time. I wouldn't return to see something here but Burt Kreischer was funny!

We went to see Ice 9 Kills, Motionless In White, and Black Veil Brides for my friend's birthday. All three bands were great and it was a smaller arena than I expected but that made the show have a more intimate feeling. The only negative in the place was WATER was $5.00 a bottle. That's just crazy in my opinion.

We paid more for VIP so we could sit. When we get upstairs they have us crammed in a little corner behind the speakers. The rest of the upstairs has curtains blocking the decent seats off! Seriously is that the best you can do?!?

Went here last night for the Trinity of Terror Tour! Concert was amazing! However VIP was very unorganized on the venues part, also they did not specify what is and isn't allowed in the venue on the website and we had to throw away a bag at the door. Facility was very clean and nice and the space is huge!

Super cool venue, well kept and a great space to catch your favorite band on tour. From the Manchester Orchestra concert last night -

Great venue, nice staff - but no spiked chokers!I kinda get the knives thing but I miss my baby. :(Also Bad Wolves without Tommy Vext really deserved the "Bad" in their name.

Saw Blackberry Smoke last night and it was a great venue! Friendly staff and well laid out!

Been to a couple of shows here. This place has no atmosphere or ambiance. Most venues have a certain feel to them that add to the concert or event experience. Not here. Literary the only thing on the wall is one small Coors Lite neon sign. That’s it. There seems to be no effort by ownership to create a cool, fun environment for attendees. No paint, no decorations on the walls, no carpet, nothing. I’d imagine it’s a similar experience to watching a show in a prison. Just a big concrete box. A single 12 oz can of beer was $11. You would think for those prices ownership would invest in the venue to improve it. The layout of the place is a nightmare. The only bar is located in a spot that creates a lot of congestion. There is a large light fixture hanging over the center of the venue that looks possibly homemade. The lighting towards the back of the venue is weirdly way too bright. You can hear the crowd over the music for some reason. I hope they make improvements so the place is cooler. I truly do want OKC to have unique venues with character that attract all sorts of talent. This place has potential to be that, but it’s really lacking across the board.

The venue is a little cramped. Not much room between the seats and the seats in front of you. The merch area is in an awkward location. It can cause a lot of bottlenecks, especially if there's a long line for merchandise. I understand they need to keep the venue packed to run the place financially, I just don't like the "packed in like sardines" feeling! On the positives, the security staff was friendly and got people through in a timely manner.
