INCREDIBLY DELISH! I've been twice now and it's officially become my new favorite. On my first visit I had soup dumplings, pork belly stir fry, & salt & pepper tofu. The tofu was incredibly flavorful and the pork belly was cut paper thin and served in a delicious sauce. The soup dumplings were the best I've had outside of NYC.On the second visit, we order dumpling in chili oil, egg roll, scallion pancake, asparagus with minced pork , and salt & pepper chicken. The scallion pancake was crisp without being overly greasy. The dumplings were not overly spicy despite being in chili oil. The asparagus was crisp tender and totally delectable. The salt & pepper chicken's bite sized pieces were crisp and not greasy. Completely full of flavor. Even in leftover version, everything was incredible. Highly recommend.
First time in today and we LOVED it! The Orange Beef was so good! I'm already wanting more. The servers were fantastic, helpful and attentive. Wonderful! This will be a new regular spot for me.
Not sure what the talk is about. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great either. The service is great but the food isn’t there.Soup dumplings and the shrimp dumplings in chili oil tasted like they’re frozen dumplings. The spicy tofu had a weird after taste. The chicken with veggies is basic. Also, at that price point, I wouldn’t get it again. Can get the same thing at any Chinese food restaurant for half the cost.
I love this place. If you are adventurous with your food then you will love the incredibly diverse selection here. From twice cooked pork belly to spicy crunchy chicken with lemony peppercorns that numb your tongue, this place makes for fantastic food exploration. Everything tasted great and I got to try flavors I have never experienced before. Additionally everybody was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful restaurant.
Omg, we finally found our Chinese food spot! We absolutely love Sam Woo BBQ Chinese restaurant in Southern CA and have not found a spot as good as Sam Woo here in OK. After trying this place, we are so thankful and stoked that we finally have our favorite Chinese restaurant not too far from home. Thank you so much for being here, Szechuan Story.Customer service was really good too. Super happy customers! ?
Had heard about the authenticity from a friend who grew up in the Szechuan province. We had a quick lunch but tried a few entrees and an appetizer. The food was hot temperature-wise and the spices were just right. Each portion was huge and we left with two bags of leftovers. Space inside is limited but the service is friendly, and fast and the food is better than you average takeout. We had orange chicken, dry hot pot (with steak) and some green bean dish and a kind of pork dumpling to start. Of course it’s served with rice.
Excellent food and service! The dumplings were amazing and so was the dry crispy spicy chicken. Can’t wait to come back to try more!
The food is horrible. Tasteless. I ordered a spicy combination fried rice. It came with 4 pieces of shrimp, some skinny chicken strips. No beef no pork. Dried out piece and carrots. I couldn’t have eaten the little that I did, without the soy sauce. To add salt to injury , these hoes charged my debit card twice.
This place is my new fave. Best King Pao Chicken I had ever and the employees are very nice.
This place is amazing. Highly recommended
