LOVE, love their BBQ and the apple fritters are amazing. They are very reasonable as well on their lunch prices only available Monday through Friday.
Went there tonight was amazing like old Spencer’s thank god someone still serves big saint Louis full size pork ribs we Will go back for sure keep it up Spencer’s !
Feel like I’m being generous. Got the wings, smoked. Meat was mostly pink. Not too much flavor. Baked beans weren’t good. Pork wasn’t it either. I’ve Had way better BBQ. This place definitely ain’t 4 stars. Seemed like it was better in the past.
The floors where sticky, the chicken was raw in middle. Gave me free apple fritters, stale ate half of one. The prices to expensive. Gone down hill
We was late this night, but we got macaroni and cheese it was cold tired to tell her,, but foo wasn't what I wanted its missing something. . The kiddos wasn't having it either that night,, later at home my daughter got sick.. I haven't called but need to make it pleasant for everyone from first customer of the day to the last customer.
In the past, I would have given 5 stars. (Or more, if I could). But in the past year, the quality has gone down. We were there on a Saturday around 5:30 pm. There were no other customers when we got there. It took longer than it should have for us to get our food, but we were not in a hurry, so that was fine. The problem was the food was only mediocre and barely warm. Also, the soft drinks had a funny taste and smell as if the machine was dirty. I really hope they get this problem under control, because this used to be my favorite barbecue restaurant ever.
I have been a loyal customer for many years. But in the last year there have been too many times that they were out of most meats. How do you run a smokehouse without ribs?? Today (11/27/21) I finally got some ribs!! And boy was I disappointed. They were tough and hard to eat. I miss the old Spencer's when the food was always good.
Been going here for many years! Love the complimentary fritters! The seasonal cornbread has to be one of my favorites though!
Thought would try it again welp the ribs look and taste like they sat there all day and after watching the lady grab the ribs and stick them in the microwave to warm they up and the onion rings where barely done... Won't be going back
It was good choice and first time coming here. Family platter was enough for a family of 8 (3 adults n 5 kids) and just under sixty dollars. The owner was sweet and gave the kids some free soft serve ice cream. Definitely recommend first time
