About 90% of the time the employees are extremely friendly! Their smoothies are pretty good too. I’d rather go here than Starbucks. Their coffee is decent at best, hence the 4 star. Half the time it is not strong, a bit watered down and you can’t taste the coffee at all in the drink, which is disappointing. I really only go here often because it’s so conveniently close to me. If another option opened near (besides Starbucks) then I would choose them due to the coffee being so inconsistent here.
I received a coupon in the mail for a free small drink. I thought that was a nice gesture and offer from Scooter’s so I went to try it out. I don’t like coffee so I was pleasantly surprised that they had a lot of other options. I ordered a sweet iced tea. Apparently, they don’t have sweetened tea so the cashier asked me how many sugar packets I would like for my tea. That was a little disappointing because tea tastes different depending on when you sweeten it. It’s much better when you sweeten it during the brewing/steeping process then when it’s already over ice. The tea itself was a little too bitter and had hints of coffee notes in it, which was not ideal. I took a picture of the ice level of my drink to show the excessive amount of ice that was in my drink for a small drink. The customer service was good though, I think I would give it another shot and just get something else other than the iced tea.
Amazing coffee, but it's way overpriced. They do not treat or pay their employees fairly. Remember to tip them for what they put up with.

This is my favorite coffee place in the city. Phenomenal customer service. My daily morning coffee stop!
We bought two benders and I am so disappointed. They taste ok, hence the two stars, but this is how full they were when they handed them to us. Looking at that I would be like "oh no, that's not full, I need to remake their drink!".
I like to bike to work in warmer weather and the team is always awesome about getting me what I need despite riding. It's such a pleasure getting something special when I don't feel like driving my car.
Products are very good, service is always excellent.. Pricewise, about same cost as Starbucks. But... I like the fact that you can get breakfast ALL day!!
This location is the worst coffee I’ve had from scooters yet. Not only was the order still wrong after being corrected twice, the flavors were mild at best
Scooter’s as a business is not well run. I’ve known several who’ve worked there and I did for a year+ myself. The management, at the store level is entirely dependent on the (mostly less then 18 year old) staff, if they’re lucky they’ll get a “manager” who won’t hardly work and will be in the store twice a week. I worked at the penn store, the busiest, best run and let me tell you even if it was the best run it is unsanitary, overpriced, employees are underpaid, the management does little to nothing, it shouldn’t be an option for you.The higher management is all trained by these teenagers, I myself trained 3 people who went on to either “manage stores” or one who even became an area director for a 1/3rd of the state! On a side note, people who have put in good, hard work to the company for years will never be noticed by anyone above them due to lack of store management, those who are higher up don’t do anything except for tell stores to fix things that they never will rather than doing it themselves, open new stores, and fire employees at the first sign of disrespect. Me personally? I said I couldn’t come in for weekly meetings at 9 am on Tuesdays becauseI’m a high school student. Their genius idea? Fire me. I had a coworker who stayed there a year longer than I did, asked for time off on a holidayWas told she was uncommitted and should leave. She did.
