My wife and I are BIG fans of HeyDay down in Norman. I had been to this location a couple of times over the years for a bowling bachelor party, drinks with friends, etc. but I had never had their food. Unfortunately, their kitchen staff is either unknowingly or knowingly serving non-vegetarian food to a vegetarian (my wife) after giving assurances it wouldn't have meat. The waitress was amazing, and the manager who came out to apologize as well. Then my food was admittedly average and underwhelming given the amount we paid. I just can't personally recommend this establishment for their food. Bowling yes, Drinks yes. Food, hard pass.
Not worth it. While we were there on a Friday afternoon, there were 3 other customers and our group of 4. The entire time there were 4 or 5 employees standing by the counter hanging out. The waitress was usually nowhere to be found and drinks and food could be seen just sitting for 5 to 10 minutes waiting for her. The guy working the reception area was friendly but other employees were rude or just ignored the customers entirely. I miss the Red Pin after experiencing the customer service here. Don't bother trying to call them, the number doesn't even work. Also, if you're female with large fingers bring your own ball because the only balls with large or extra large holes are the heaviest one's they have.
We recently celebrated our daughter’s sweet 16th birthday here. We planned for a party size of 24. The service prior to and the day of was wonderful. They worked as a team to make our daughter’s day a blessed day. They catered to our guest in a professional manner. The food, atmosphere, and service were all 5 stars. I would recommend to anyone to give them a try.
This place is awesome! I planned my son's graduation party here. The HeyDay staff was very friendly and welcoming. Maranda was our hostess and she did a great job! She made sure we had everything we needed. This was our first time at this location and I must say they went above and beyond in service and great food!
Would love this place if the service was better… can’t blame the servers since he literally was all by himself. We called made a res @3 since we’re coming from Lawton. They charge your card for holding the res.. kinda odd most places charge you when you get there. When we arrived we told them we had a red @3 and we’re gonna eat first since we arrived early. Drinks were definitely good. They ask for a card to hold your tab and charge as you go as well. Odd.. but anyways. Our combo app took 30-40 min…. When it was 3 we walked in to get our lane and the host said our res was @5…. Host gave us a attitude when we explained we called and asked for 3 and we told you while we walked in we had a res @3… the host wasn’t accommodating at all didn’t even say “sorry for the misunderstanding the next we would do is at 4:15”. Nope just a attitude he did the head bob “well it’s we have you down for 5” I mean we drove all the way here and you already charged me so I guess we’ll wait. Maybe better service or management we’ll come back. As of rn we won’t.
A Great and Fun bar to relax at! They are very lively and even have bowling!!!
A fun place for all ages. They offer bowling, billiards, food, music and more. The staff that greeted us did an amazing job explaining how everything works. We opted to dine-in and we're directed to set ourselves. We did, and no one came to our table. After 15 minutes, we helped ourselves to menus from the hostess stand. After 30 minutes (and a waitress helping tables on all sides of us), we decided to go the bar to order. This gentleman was incredibly kind and helpful, even apologized. He helped us the rest of the night. Food was ok, not what we were expecting as some of it was bland and overcooked.
Fun bowling experience in Bricktown. Friendly staff. Nice bar selection. Definitely family friendly and clean.
They were great service, but pool tables were a little weird lighting that kinda made playing difficult. Also, the tables are a bit close together. Atmosphere is nice. If you want to bowl make a reservation.
Our company took a client to this venue. We had a party of 15 and thought this would be a fun place to entertain on a weeknight. The restaurant was clean and the bowling lanes were well kept. However, the wait staff and supervisor were very inexperienced and not welcoming. They created a hostile environment for my team and our clients. Everyone was aggressively carded within our party before a drink was served to them, and if anyone rebuffed, they were treated with even greater hostility. During dinner we found ourselves refilling our own drinks and seeking out the bar tender because the food took over an hour to be served. What was worse, after bringing out the first meal, it took 25 minutes for everyone in the party to have their food. As a result, some are cold meals and we didn’t have time for all the activities that are available at the venue, so we settled to play a single game of bowling. Before we could finish, the wait staff did their best to be kind (we complained about the service), but that was too little too late. To top it off, at the moment our event time was up, the wait staff came in and yelled “last call” at our group. I certainly would have preferred a more discreet conversation with the host so we could check with our party before wrapping up. Needless to say, we won’t be returning and would not recommend that you expose any important client relationships to the inexperience and immaturity of the staff/team at Hey-Day. What a tremendously expensive disaster.
