This is my husband’s and my favorite place to bring our dog and relax with a book and a coffee. The drinks are delicious and the staff are wonderful. We’ve been here so much that my dog knows where we are going and has her favorite people that she MUST say hi to :) The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Highly recommend Prelude!
Adorable and quiet! Friendly staff, very clean shop. I love that they have books for sale!*Menu is a bit limited, but the coffee is good quality.*Beverage cups are a bit like Japanese tea cups, which means the larger size used for serving coffee feels a bit like a soup tureen at first because there is no handle. This means those of us lacking bear paws have to put our book down to sip coffee.*The vibe is quiet and relaxed, and there is extra seating downstairs in the buikding common area; you coukd easily get cofdee and go to one of the larger downstairs tables to chat with a larger group.*ADA accessible via elevator; parking and main door are accessible. (Note: I did not check restroom accessibility.)
Pricey but good coffee. Great, clean place to study if you enjoy quiet modern spaces. It is located inside a small market center with plants inside! Cute photo ops for sure.
Loved the cool decor and loved the drip coffee. Very nice and quite place to enjoy some good coffee and spend time reading a book. Between they do have a decent collection books that they offer for reading pleasure and spend an hour or two. Definitely recommend this place.
I was really impressed at how nice and intimate this coffee shop felt. I brought along my baby with me, not knowing the shop was upstairs. Luckily, there was a lift to use for anyone needing help up the 2nd floor. The barista offered to help bring my baby down. Really appreciated the kind gesture. The latte with vanilla was all I needed for a pickup. I highly recommend this place and will be back!
Very good coffee! Passing through OKC and glad we tried it out. This is a must if you’re looking for good, local coffee.

Got an iced chai and a latte with almond milk. Sooo good, and the barista was so kind!

Going to Prelude is my favorite past time, especially on a quiet Saturday morning. The staff is very personable, and you can tell they love what they do. I have never gotten a drink I haven't loved, and they always have a good recommendation if I need one. It's a great place to study or bring a friend and catchup. My go-to coffee shop in OKC. Do yourself a favor and go!
