We decided to call in to Popeyes Restaurant at I-240 & sooner rd because it was closest to the devastation. the order was large & were on a time crunch. The manager instantly told me she cannot take her order over the phone I promptly expressed to her that she can at least prepare for us to arrive we were trying to respectfully feed people in need at that moment. I then asked if she had enough chicken to do 3 of the 16 piece meals in a rude fashion she stated she did not know then I asked to speak with a manager she said I am the manager and as a manager how do you not know what you have and don’t have ?? We was asked to pull up and they would have it out we waited for an hour and still didn’t even get the biscuits.we paid 87.00 for our meal . We are extremely unsatisfied with the way this place was ran as were other customers because everyone but one person there seemed as if they was lost and confused .. the young man at the window taking the money was very good his name was denAuntre but goes by (Trey) he said if he was manager her would have been prepared which is the best thing to do in that situation.The manager came out to our vehicle and I was asking questions she also let us know how other people was trying to get their food and telling us how they was asking questions and she just wanted them to go away NOT professional ! I just think attention needs to be paid to this location or it won’t make it longI will never recommend someone to visit here and wait and hour or even 30 minutes for their dinner especially in a time like our time this evening .Thanks
Without a doubt the worst Popeyes I've ever been to. We ordered a 2 piece all white spicy combo and a 3 piece all white regular chicken combo. After waiting for an extended period and When we got home and opened our order we recieved a 2 piece thigh and leg non-spicy combo and a 3 piece with dark meat combo as well. How hard is it to get a simple order straight. First you want to blame covid, then peoples lack of desire to work. How about stop being lazy and do your dam job.
I paid to upcharge all the thighs in a 16-piece family meal to breasts. Not only did they give me only 4 breasts, but I only got 2 wings. So, I paid to have NO thighs but instead, when I should have had 8 breasts, 4 wings, and 4 legs, I received 4 breasts, 4 legs (one of which looked pathetic), 2 wings, 5 thighs, and 1 piece of unknown origin (Idk...It may have been a back or neck, but it didn't look like either but a foreign piece). They made me pull up and wait forever. You'd think it would've been right when it came out. My conclusion: It was intentional! I know why, and I think it's so sad! When I worked in foodservice, I gave every one of my customers equal service, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, social ranking...forget it. I'm finished!
We called ahead to make sure their dining room was open. The employee who answered the phone was very rude. The employee replied "No" in a really rude way. The last 5 or 6 times we had been to this location (granted it has been over 6 months since we were there) the lobby was closed. I then asked if they had any of their chicken sandwiches to which she acted like I had just committed a crime. We hadn't been to this location in a while because of their employees and this just confirmed our previous decision to not frequent this location.When the lobby is closed you might sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes or more.We need another location on this side of town with employees who want to be there (to be fair probably with better pay and benefits).
My drive thru visit was quite lengthy. Almost 30 minutes waiting on a 16 piece and a spicy chicken sandwich. They had a hard time hearing my order so I ended up with the wrong 16 piece. I wanted spicy tenders not chicken on a bone. I did place my order at 958pm last night, Friday night and there were 2 vehicles ahead of me before placing my order. There was a sign on the speaker that said "do not pull up to the window until they tell you to". I was a 15 minute drive home and the food was hot enough not to microwave so that's a plus. Effort should have been made to repeat the order. At the speaker and at the window. I am at fault for not asking at the window but if you're not hearing clearly make sure you repeat the order and if you don't have chicken cooked a time frame should be suggested at the time of ordering. Especially when the 2 people in front were gone before I came to the window and 5 people came thru behind me and then left. 100% customer service at all times. I also forgot how expensive they were. I just happened to be passing by on the way home and was looking forward to spicy tenders. Oh, forgot to ask for hot sauce and honey. And wasn't offered it or thrown in the bag just in case they forgot to ask for it gesture. I'm not complaining I want to encourage better communication for improved customer service.
Let me just start off with me walking into this restaurant and tell you what i seen. Assistant manager tucking in his shirt and messing with his belt right there in front of me. I ordered 4 chicken breast spicy. Then the assistant manager turned around and picks up the chicken and puts it in the Box with his nasty hands. When I look at the chicken the chicken breast was so thin it didn't even look like chicken. I came back in to talk to the manager because I ordered it to go, which he had an attitude saying I'll have to wait 13 minutes for fresh chicken. Excuse me I said the chicken is supposed to already be fresh. Then I looked up at the cook and he was back there braids in his hair with no gloves. Then I ask for my money back and assistant manager got mad and went and got the main manager and she finally gave me my money back after she had an attitude herself. I will never go back to just restaurant ever ever ever ever again. They are all nasty and they cheat people with the chicken. I don't even want to give him one star but I guess I have to.
Worst visit ever, I will not go back to this location, the girl working the drive thru was slow and apparently confused. Our food was just thrown into the bag we ordered the kids meal and I always get the mashed potatoes and gravy with the kids meal she wouldn't let me change it not everybody can eat applesauce and drink apple juice because I also asked for a small kids sweet tea it's never been a problem before with Popeyes but she wanted to charge me $5 extra when I was already paying $5 for a kid's meal that the only thing I can eat out of it is six nuggets worst visit ever, angry
The people who work here are way too busy playing slap and tickle to to do their jobs. Had to repeat ourselves 5 times at the drive-thru and then we didn't get our sides. Won't EVER go back and corporate needs to do something about this place.
Sadly when my husband picked up his order they seemed to be out of things coleslaw, spicy chick. Someone had complained about cold fries... and orders took a very long time. THIS may NOT be typical... but we did order the shrimp that were not only minuscule but hard and dry . We tossed them after a very few ... for this experience a 3 star was generous. But this was our first visit. Again it may not be a typical experience.
Fish & shrimp tasted burnt I asked my meal be made a large and got a regular. Lastly my 5 piece tender wasn't spicy when I for spicy.
