The food is solid. But you can't go inside. I don't understand why? I get it but come on, Popeyes isn't the only public place to get Covid. So that leaves the drive thru. The employees are always nice but don't go if you have a 30 minute lunch, you ain't making it back on-time! An hour might not even be long enough actually. If Popeyes was in the hare vs. turtle race, they wouldn't be the hare I promise you that! Come to think of it, I'm not really sure you can consider them "fast" food. If the food wasn't so tasty they'd already be gone!You lucky you found the perfect "crack like" chicken recipes and chicken sandwich Popeyes Corp.!
Terrible experience!! I only gave a 1 star because zero and negative doesn't exist. Visiting from out of town/state and staying at the Hampton Inn...thought yeah, we need a quick and easy fix for dinner. Got there, sign on door said lobby only accepted cash so I thought the lobby was open. I drove around the drive-thru since I was the only customer, I thought it was ok. A lady head popped out and I told her I'll come in because I wanted see the menu and call my husband to make sure I get his order correct. She nodded, thinking she understood but I was wrong. I parked and walked to both side of the building and doors were locked. Three females, including the lady who smiled at me. They were on their phone. I knocked a few times and ended up banging on the door to get attention. One of the young gal waved to go around. I was confused so I walked to the drive-thru window, still only customer there, the young gal told me only the drive-thru window was open. So I get back in my car and go to the drive-thru, spent $43 for them to mess up my order on top of the fries being stale. Sigh.
The wait time at this particular Popeyes is always insane. The employees are not always friendly it's a roll of the dice depending on who's working and what kind of customer service you will receive. And the cleanliness is definitely something that makes me worried about the food I'm receiving. The reason I'm giving it three stars is due to the few employees that are friendly and the couple of times I've gone here and actually gotten a decent meal.
Slow service. Dried out chicken tenders. No lids for cups.not my best experience at Popeyes.
Went to Popeyes at 50th and May for lunch at 1:30pm. I tried to order a chicken sandwich and was told the chicken was frozen and they weren't going to cook anymore that day. All this while two employees were standing out the back door smoking.
Worst establishment in OKC PERIOD everywhere has better customer service than these horrible company operating people. It's so sad and disappointing!!
We got dinner last night and the service was the worst only reason I gave 1 star is because I can't do negative. The employee was just walking around I had to holler at him that I was there to pick up an order I placed on line. First he looked at me like he didn't know what I was saying then he said he couldn't find it. He then took another few min to start putting it together. Didn't even do that right after I got home we noticed alot of the strip where not cooked all the way. The beans and rice had a horrible smell the straps left a bad after taste. Tried calling store and phone had busy signal. This morning we have been having very bad stomach cramps feeling sick weak and chills. I want to talk to corporate but can't find number. There even other customers that where there and got tired of waiting and said let's find better place to eat. I highly recommend NO ONE EAT THERE you will get sick
Very poor customer service spent more time socializing with each other then doing there job waited almost 30 min for a order to even be stared when I was asking to be helped I was ignored I understand if y'all were busy but with no customers really that's really pathetic service
It's 1:30 Friday Feb 25th, they're out of fountain drinks siting broken waterlines as the reason. Speaker guy doesn't mention this until after I've placed my order.Ok, I'll give them these, if presented prior you may lose more food sales, however, the only sweetened drink available, sweet tea, is the poorest excuse for sweet tea I've ever tasted, it's watery and pretty much like semi sweet water, and no shame to serve it and aware of the quality. It barely had any ice maybe they're trying to preserve and ration ice today.They're so slow today took 10 minutes to finally get my drive through order. The mild chicken was very hot but not very flavorful. The only thing that was par was the perfect fresh biscuit.
The red beans and rice and biscuit were good. Mac and cheese. Okay. That was the poorest excuse for chicken ever. I'd rather buy vegan strips at Target
