The food is good here. This was like a lobster grilled cheese and it is FULL OF LOBSTER. I could only eat half and saved the other half for later. I have gotten “lobster rolls” from other places, who shall remain nameless ?, and there’s probably triple the amount of lobster here. I also ordered garlic fries and I feel they could use a little more flavor. You expect more with a name like “garlic fries” but it feels like you just got fries. The sandwich was good and fresh but a little on the salty side so you may request easy salt, because it is made to order.
I seen this place on Foodnetwork and always wanted to try it, but never had the time. I was finally able to pay them a vist and I am glad that I did! The lobster grilled cheese was out of this world delicious with cheese and peppers. I give much praise for the wonderfully flavored collard greens with turkey leg (not too many restaurants can cook collards like my husband does), but they knocked it out the park! If you get the chance to try them out, you will not be disappointed. Another great feature is you can see directly into the kitchen and watch the cooks perform their magic! Great stop for some amazing food and divine pineapple lemonade!
Flies everywhere, gentric tough catfish, fries tough as leather, smoothed rice, bed of salty mess. Service was rotten. Would give negative star ? if it was possible. I'm from Louisiana and poor excuse for black own business with seafood !!
I do not have any complaints about the quality of food. However, customer service need improvement. The cashier (Lay) took my order and did not smile or display any friendly gestures. I gave her (Lay) the money for my order. After she returned my change, she never said thank you, this is your ticked number or nothing, causing me to feel very uncomfortable. One unsatisfied customer will tell 5 people who tell other people, and business begins to decline.
1st time here. Catfish filet was huge! The 5 shrimp were fairly large. Side of Okra was a large quantity but almost not crisp enough for my liking. Will be back for the fish and shrimp for sure!
The melted lobster sandwich and collard greens were great! Also got the seafood wonton that were really good too. The wait was the only downside. But I went during the lunch rush so that's to be expected. Will definitely be going back to try other things!
My favorite place to eat, always hits the spot too! Blackened chicken fries and super smothered seafood fries.! ??? Didn't get a pic of the wontons bc they never last more than 5sec ?
Absolutely delicious!! Feel like I'm back in New Orleans. The blackened tilapia and shrimp is scrumptious! Order an extra piece of fish. It's a good deal. Love the okra and the homemade mac n cheese. Get there early to get a container of perfectly made gumbo. It goes fast. Very small restaurant. Order at the counter. Friendly helpful staff.We are hooked on Off the Hook!
Try the blackened chicken over rice . Food was delicious. Definitely coming back (:awesome people .
First time trying this restaurant. It was good. Had a wait but that isn't a problem when waiting for good food. Sat inside and watched the process very efficient. Heads up the homemade chips are Spicy! Husband and Granddaughter had to switch out. To hot for a kiddo but husband loved them!
