Not an LGBTQA+ friendly place to workWalking in for my interview I state my correct name being a Woman in transition. They go to the back to get them. I speak Spanish and I heard what they were murmuring about. Staring at me through the glass. I was immediately denied the job but did the interview anyway. Negative experience all around. I’d like to be able to earn respect like they let the others that work there. It’s my belief that I could not in that Deli because of what happened.
Tired of going to a McAlister's and not having the drinks already made when picking up someone's doordash order. Also on top of this last time they were out of lemonade. They wanted me to call the customer because THEY were out of the drink. I am tired of having to call a customer especially if the customer ends up yelling at me for something when it is the store's fault for not having the drinks ready/available. The store should have called the customer if they were out of something before the dasher arrives. Waited at least 5 mins for the food and still no drinks made. I tried to ask for them to make the drinks before I got the food. Of course they didn't. So I just left with the food on what was available. Like to add it took me roughly 10 mins just to drive to this store when the order was offered to me. Waited 5+ mins for the food at store with no drinks made. Roughly 2-4 mins to drop it off from the store. I waited longer at the store then driving to drop it off. I had have issues like this at the other location off of 19th street so I know it is not just this location. McAlister's really need to up their game when it comes to drinks. Never filling the drinks up until the driver arrives. Sometimes can cause food just sitting out getting cold. Also seem there is only 1 employee up at the front counter so you also have to wait if they are helping someone else. So it makes it worse when no drinks are ready but the food is. No dasher or delivery driver should have to wait longer then 5 mins on drinks. We don't get payed enough to wait. I get if it is food but drinks is a big NO. Do better McAlister's.
Fast and Friendly service
I ate at the SW 104th and Penn local. This was my first trip to McAlister's. Found the establishment to be clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and efficient and the food was very good. i will definitely be returning to this location for future meals.
We both had the Southwest chicken salad and loaded baked potato. Both were delicious. It was my wife's first time going here. She enjoyed it and we had a reasonably healthy late lunch.
Zero stars if I could. Not only were they late in making my online order, I got to work and got someone else's food inside! Which I'm allergic to.... pain to get ahold of a manager and then even still got attitude upon asking for a refund. I obviously couldn't go pick up my real order again later! I was beginning a 12 hour shift! Will not return, probably to any location.
Wanted to tey something different and regretted it the chicken tortilla soup only had a few tiny pieces of chicken n onion thats it!lol atleast add beans n veggies it was sad n salad was good but too small
I placed an order online. They forgot some sides and sauces. Manager made it right next visit.Placed another order online today. They forgot sauces and a side. Tried calling for assistance and someone keeps acting like they can't hear me on the phone.Granted, on the first mess up, the manager told me to place orders over the phone. But why have an online ordering option if I'm not supposed to use it? I'd like to earn points and stuff.Anyway whatever just wish their honey mustard and grilled chicken sandwiches weren't so good.
Drenched with nasty mustard! ?? Not one person alive would want that much mustard on anything. Absolutely horrendous. Would never eat at this place again. Schlotzsky’s is a way better sandwich. JS
We ordered a Spud, half a ham and cheese melt and 2 bowls of chicken and dumplings and 2 iced teas. The Spud was half the size they used to be, over cooked to the point of having a tough skin, one pat of butter and hard inside. The chicken and dumplings were soup with a bit of chicken that had been put through a food processor and about 3 dumplings that were absolute mush. I ordered a bowl size and it had less than a cup of the product in the small container. It was so small that I went back to the counter and asked if it was a cup or bowl size. It was barely half full. $26+ for the worst meal we've had in months. I will NEVER be back.
