New owners are doing a good job. It was good before too.The catfish was very good.All the food was good.Take small amounts so you can try more items!
The food was really good. My only complaint, and the only things holding me back from five stars were 1) that the salad-bar "fixins" were a bit sparse. Honestly would have liked to see some diced ham, chopped boiled egg, chopped bacon (or at least bacon bits), etc. And 2) they did not have any bread out at all. Used to love their cornbread. Seemed like the baker was not doing much, cause in fact there were no cookies either. Otherwise, the fried chicken was good (bit greasy, but that was to be expected). Overall, good, cheap, greasy spoon buffet.
There aren't places that exist like this anymore. I hope this place stays around for a long time. Homestyled cooking and it's delicious. You can choose to order a burger, steak, or buffet. It brought back that nostalgic feeling. Used to eat here as a kid and memories flooded back when we took our own kids. Our server, Vivian, was friendly and took great care of us! Not only will we be back, we simply Cannot wait until we can come back. I'd rate higher than 5 stars but that's as high as I can get.
I thought all the places were closed until Sunday morning I saw the advertisement during a local Christian show. We went the following Sunday and it was DELICIOUS, FOOD WAS FRESH! SERVICE from Vivian was A1!
Love this place . They have a nice selection of good food on the Buffett . The wait staff is good at checking on you and very friendly.

Ordered a sirloin with baked potato and salad bar. Salad bar is really a misnomer - it's as big as many buffets. Besides the usual salad, soup, fruit and breads, there was quite the list of hot entrees. Fried chicken, catfish, swedish meatballs, mac n cheese, pork chops... Well you get the idea. Food was hot, flavorful and, with minor exceptions, fresh. I ended u getting full on the salad bar and took the steak/potato home (after doctoring the potato with butter, sour cream, bacon, cheese and brisket). Only disappointment was how utterly disgusting the bathroom was. More than the truck stop urine smell, it was dirty and I felt less clean leaving than when I entered.
Food was good.. Veggies were not so good they are usually seasoned cabbage spinach and cabbage ALL NEEDED SEASONING.... LEMONADE WAS LIKE WATER.... IT HAS BEEN SO MUCH BETTER...
I have always enjoyed my meals. The employees are great. And the price is reasonable. Great place to eat a good meal!
We paid $40.00 for the buffet at 11:00 am and the food was burned, and looked like it had been cooked days in advance. The waitress only came over to the table to see how we were doing after we got our first plate and to clean plates off the table, never Once did she refill or even offer to refill my husband's soda. Or to get him a fresh soda once he got to sit and drink watery soda the whole time we were there. We will not be returning to this establishment ever because if they can't keep there food fresh on the buffet then what makes me think tgat they could ever cook anything properly ever!!!
