Awesome BBQ! Visuals aren't fancy, just what you'd expect for down home spot, but the food more than made up for that. A friend from Tinker AFB introduced me to this place and I brought the whole family along. Service was surprisingly great.

Best bbq I’ve had in OKC. Everything on the menu is delicious and the slide of cake elevates the experience to other worldly. They moved location (lost the hole in the wall charm but I’m glad they’re open and still prospering) into Homeland grocery store and we stopped on our way to the airport Monday and it turns out they’re closed Mondays ?Make the stop if you have time. You won’t regret it.

Now inside a Homeland, but not as good as the average grocery store deli offerings! Watery sauce, tough brisket, tough ribs, bland coleslaw, limp, toasted on one side, bread, that immediately was too soggy to be edible. I'm sorry, but somebody HAS to be riding on old history of what Leo's used to be! We eat barbecue fairly often, both here and on various travels, but this would not be a place I would ever choose again!

I’ve been here at least half a dozen times for a smoked turkey sandwich and they never have turkey. They always seem totally unprepared and clueless. Each time I ask their response is “turkey is hard to get these days”.So, since this location is inside a Homeland grocery store, I proceed to do some shopping. And about fifty feet away from Leos, I find about 100 turkey.Complete waste of time. Leo would be ashamed.

One of my all time favorite bbq spots in the USA. I've entered and judged many bbq competitions and this is top shelf bbq. They do it right.

Been coming here for years, starting with my parents and now with my family. We usually get take out.

I consider this place the 2nd best BBQ in the USA. I did a 100+ restaurant BBQ tour of the most touted places in the US and I loved this place. The only place I like better was Rendezvous Barbecue Memphis Tennessee.I hit all the big names in Texas, KC, St.Louis, OK, AR, MO, GA, AL and more!I am a professional chef myself, and a professional food judge. This place is a solid 10/10 for me.

ADVISORY: CHANGE OF ADDRESS ... 625 NE 36TH AVE. (HOMELAND). PHONE ... (405) 669-3100 EXTENSION 6; HOURS: SUNDAY CLOSED, MONDAY 10-3, TUESDAY-SATURDAY 10-6. There's very good value here. A rib order with one side (fried okra) came to $13.99 + tax. The seven meaty, well-trimmed ribs (half a rack) had just enough rub to seal in the juices and personalize the taste without concealing the flavor of the meat. This was a very good bite, and a well-prepared one: the meat separated cleanly from the bone at the bite. The large portion of fried okra complemented the meat well. For added measure, we added a pint of onion rings ... another sage choice. We saved the two pieces of toast for dipping in the mild sauce-- an enjoyable treat that reminded us of Lexington, NC style sauce. In sum, a great stop, and all for $18 and change!

Have loved them forever. Have not been to Homeland location yet. Will be soon. The customer service has always been above and beyond! The food is the best!

I’ve been eating at Leo’s since the early 90’s and have always loved it. I’ve brought people from out of town and have probably introduced no less than 50 local people who’ve loved it over the years. When he moved into a grocery store, I really thought it would be the death of what I’ve always loved. This week I went to Leo’s for the first time since moving into Homeland and I wasn’t disappointed. The ribs were as great as always and are a must have. The macaroni salad was different but the sides were all still really and the cake was a perfect finish. Don’t forget that sauce. I did miss the friendly atmosphere of the old location, but the staff was still as friendly as they ever were. If you haven’t eaten at Leo’s flip the rock over you’ve been living under and go enjoy this Oklahoma gem. Leo’s is the best BBQ in Oklahoma.
