This used to be one of my favorite Italian restaurantsMy last visit was about 2 months ago. Salad was fine, as was the bread and garlic olive oil. Then came the "spinach artichoke dip". No visible artichokes, but there were specks of spinach. The consistency and taste was flour and water paste. Entree was okay. Not the same restaurant.

The place floor was dirty the hostess was not presentable, the good don’t not have flavor. The restrooms had paper towels all over the floor not a good plat to eat

This used to be my favorite restaurant. The minestrone soup was so salty and cold as well as my pasta. 8 minutes after receiving our entree the waitress who was just trying to make a buck not at all caring about our experience asks us about dessert or if we wanted a box while giving us our check. The picture was my food when I told her I did not particularly care for it at all and she just said “im sorry about that” took our payment and charged us full price for everything without any solution. We will not be returning.

Picked up a catering order for work and found this was a great choice. We ordered the Lasagna, Spicy Chicken Romero & Chicken Alfredo along with some mini meatballs, bread & both the House & Caesar salads. The staff loved it all!! Everything we had was delicious and it made for some very happy campers. ? We also found the pricing to be very affordable to feed a group of 30+ people, we will definitely do catering orders with Carino's again!

First off I let my waitress know we were first time customers and I highly judge a place on the salad, I ordered my salad with extra ranch, so the salad comes out half a hour later, with 1tbs of ranch, I ask for more and it never came, I pushed my salad to the edge of the table because at that time I was completely done with this place, then she came back and said ohh u ask for extra ranch right? My husbands pizza taste like a chef boyardee pizza. Do not recommend this place. Highly disappointed

I haven't been to Johnny Carinos for at least 10 years. I ordered items I had in the past, my favorite item there was spicy Romana chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and their tiramasu. The ? mushrooms weren't as good as they used to be, but perhaps they are better in person. My brother tried their turtle cheesecake, which he really enjoyed.

I love the food at Johnny Carinos but the food was bad when you burn something when cooking it you don’t serve it l ordered chicken Parmesan. And my husband had eggplant my was burned and so was his . Menu said 2/24 we were charged 17 per meal needless to say we will not be going back. I called manager he said we can come back for a free meal. Thanks but no thanks we should have refused and left you live and learn.

There were very few people there when we went. The hostess started to sit at us at one of the only table with all chairs. Since every other one had booths I politely asked if we could move. My back is not great and the booths help. She did move us but had an attitude about it. The food was good as usual. The Italian Nachos were loaded up great. The portion sizes for the entrées looked smaller which wouldn't be too bad but with the recent price increases I would expect to get at least the same amount. I asked if the soup could still be swapped for the salad for the side and they said yes but didn't mention that they now charge $4 for that. So my meal that was normally 12.99 was 15.99 for the entrée and 3.99 for the soup. So approx $7 higher with smaller portion sizes at least when we went anyway. Might not sound like much but with a family that's $35+. Overall the food is still yummy. The service was ok. The pricing for portion amount was not the best.

This is usually my go to for Italian food but tonight's experience was very disappointing got two baked cheese tortellini dishes dinner proportion and received a very small pathetic amount 15.99 for what looks like the lunch portion if even payed for an extra bread witch I should have gotten two anyway because I got two meals but only got one oil for both breads no croutons in our cearser salads either. Very disappointing !!!!!!

Friday night my husband called me and asked what I wanted for dinner. He suggested Johnny Carinos on south Walker because he knows I love that place and we hadn’t been in a while. I ordered my go to. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I was so excited so as soon as he got home I started in on my food. Apparently I got a funny face because he asked me what was wrong. I said it tastes frozen and not in a good way. I made him take a bite and he got the same look. It was worse than a frozen dinner. Like small noodles and the sauce was horrible. The whole thing went in the trash. It gets two stars because the bread was great and so was the Caesar’s salad. Not going back. Can’t believe the food is so bad now.
