Would give 0 stars if it was an option. We had Johnnie's make my daughters wedding cake. Emailed the 2 pictures of what we wanted. Called 2 days before the wedding to confirm everything was on track. They repeated the order back word for word like we ordered so we thought everything was great. Then on the day of the wedding they delivered an un decorated cake. NOTHING LIKE WHAT WE ORDERED OR WHAT WAS READ BACK TO US OVER THE PHONE 2 DAYS PRIOR. we went to Johnnie's 2 days later and they just say they'll have someone call us. * UPDATE 4/5/22 owner called and gave a partial refund. Very poor customer service
This place was amazing!!! The girl who helped us was equally amazing. Not to mention, the only bakery in town that offered sugar free options. We will definitely be back.
I ordered pregnancy reveal cookies 2-3 weeks ahead of time & paid when I ordered. I arrived today to pick them up 2 hours after the pickup time (thinking I gave extra time just in case needed). Long story short they couldn’t find my cookies, couldn’t find my order, couldn’t seem to pull it together to explain how this could possibly happen. It was not until I provided an email correspondence that they were able to locate the order and my info. I don’t know if this is a common occurrence but I’d sure hope not. To plan the details of such a major life event only to have it unfulfilled is not acceptable and beyond disappointing. I’m not sure how I didn’t loose my cool with the employees other than I was in such shock that they could be so careless with something obviously so important. Beware ordering from a business so unorganized.
Second time using them. There cakes taste amazing! The first time using them the cake looked fantastic this time I was very disappointed. I was hoping it would look wat better than it did. Cake tasted great and was a hit but I was expecting better for the price I paid. We ordered German chocolate. But the copied and pasted picture on the top looked horrible. The trees on the side of the cake didn't even look like the trees I showed them from one of there own creations. I was hoping for a better job than recieved. Apon viewing I told the lady I wasn't happy with the cake and she just looked at me and asked how I wanted to pay. Please do not ask if I like something if you have no intentions of trying to fix it or make it right. No discount or offer to try to do a quick fix was offered. Extremely disappointed!
This is my custard pie for Christmas dinner that I ordered. It was overdone & did not look appetizing at all. The last one I ordered was beautiful. This was dry & discusting
Picked up my Christmas cookies today and everyone in there was working so hard to ensure everyone is taken care of. The cookies were exactly what we wanted and are delicious! Thank you!!!!
I normally don't give bad reviews, but I ordered this cake on Nov 1st and stated it needed to be done on Sat Nov 7th. I called Sat the 7th at 11 am and asked if it was ready. They said they thought it wasn’t needed until Sat Nov 14th. Was on hold for 10 min at least and was told they got confused, but could have it ready by 1pm. I kill two hours and pick it up. While waiting I watched a cake decorator putting icing on another cake. I watched her lick icing off of her finger and go right back to decorating. They finally brought my sons cake out, but didn’t follow simple instructions. The cake wasn’t right, but we had to have it that day so I said thank you and took it. The employee didn’t even give a simple apology. The cake was dry and stale. It tasted like it was already several days old. The outer edges were hard and dry under the icing. Very, very disappointed. Walmart Bakery is 10x better then this. I will NEVER get anything from this bakery again.
They have made me several cakes and they always do an amazing job and this year was no different for my grandsons birthday. Thank you for continuing to be amazing.He LOVES it
I was very excited for this cake said I wanted it to look exactly like the picture minus a couple accessories and was disappointed. After telling the guy what I wanted he asked if I wanted buttercream to be a little cheaper and I said yes - I wasn't aware that by agreeing to this I would lose the smoky marble effect. Hopefully it tastes amazing.
Johnnie’s always does an awesome job when I need a cake! Can’t recommend enough!
