Rolls are excellent. Chicken fried steak was okay.. had a lot of breading on it. Fries are homemade and good. The fried pie was good. Gave it to us for free for our first visit there.. so that always makes it better.. good place over all.. country restaurant in the middle of the city..
My husband and I ate here recently and had a wonderful experience! He got a half order of chicken fried steak, and let me tell you, you get your money's worth! He ended up needing a to-go box for the rest. I ordered a blt and mac n cheese which were both exactly what I would expect. I didn't leave a crumb on my plate. The service was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. At first glance the prices seemed a bit steep for comfort foods, but the meals were delicious and the portions generous. We also got one of their famous fried pies for free for it being our first visit! We will definitely be going back very soon.
We had delicious pork chops today. Service was good, and portions were way big! Wish this place was closer to home.

The food was phenomenal! You must try the chicken fried steak and chicken livers. Our server was Kat and she will surely brighten your day. We will definitely be back.
Cindy is the best ever waitress and real nice. The rolls and Cinnamon butter is so good. Better than Texas Roadhouse rolls and butter.
This was The over the top in everything. Fast, friendly, and the country in home setting was even better... Don't even get me started on the food...Unbelievable perfectly cooked and was on top of it for sure... My 1st time eating here and now I think I'm hooked.. Keep up the awesomeness out there.. see ya soon. 10+
After seeing the commercials on TV we decided to eat at Jimmy's for the first time. Food was good with the exception of the almost nonexistent meat in the chicken fried steak and the rolls were cold and stale. Table was not cleaned well.
They have a clean and friendly environment. What I like the most is the basket of warm homemade dinner rolls they serve as an appetizer. I do recommend this restaurant and I will be back.
