This place was very empty, we came during happy hour, kids ordered cheeseburgers, which looked like the restaurant ran out of burger buns. They weren’t very good burgers. I ordered a BLT sandwich, it had 3 pieces of bread in it which was way too much for me. I removed one slice because it was a very dry sandwich. And the stack of pancakes are never any good. I was never a fan of those pancakes. Overall, not a great experience.
Probably the only good thing I can say about this location is it was very clean. Our waitress was terrible, she really should not be working in the service industry. The food was was also not good. My son ordered fried eggs and wanted the completely cooked. After sending them back they still had runny yolks and crispy edges. Every.other omelette I have ever eaten has the ham and cheese inside, not here. It was like an overcooked egg empty egg roll up. The waitress seemed mad when we asked for salt, pepper, and syrup. My mom did say her blueberry French tast was good.
I don't know what's wrong with the staff at IHOP... I haven't had a good experience with ANY location in the metro! I understand short staff etc I work in the customer service. What I don't understand is why simple things like making refills are not a thing. My whole family of 3 sat without a drink for almost our whole meal yet was given our check before the butter even melted on my pancakes! We finally flaged down our server coming back from his second smoke break he asked if we were ready. We told him that we all needed drinks and asked about kids eating free (looking at ticket child meal not discounted) we were looked at like we were stupid.the sever then went and talked to im guessing the manager who took him to a window cling to show him. He came back and apologized for not knowing. (He should have looked at the window cling above this head while out on 1 of the 2 smoke and phone call break). Only after that did we get our first refill. Mind you there was 2 servers and from what I counted 4 tables. This is now 3 out of 4 IHOP in a 15 to 20 mile I will not ever go back to. Moore Oklahoma is the only one I'm willing to go to now
When I arrived at this location, we waited at the register for about 8 minutes but it seemed short staff as no one came to greet us or the people behind us. A worker parking her car came inside & greeted us immediately. She said she would be right with us. She was so friendly & kind. It's very rarely you see someone walking in for their shift be that attentive, especially at 7:30 in the morning. She sat us, & the food came in a timely manner. I asked for the name of the waitress who sat us & her name is Connie. This woman's customer service is top notch. Bonnie was also our waitress & she was super attentive as well.
Philly steak with onion ringsFood served hot.Onion rings fried perfectly, didn't break apart too much after the first bite.Onions grilled well with the cheese, steak meat a little dry. Roll could have been toasted to hold meat better.Served with ketchup packets for safety
Food was good, typical iHop quality. Service at this location was horrible. Waitress sat down at our table to take our orders. She had her AirPods in and food took 30 minutes to come out. Also, my receipt said they automatically added a 15% gratuity tip. But then she brought out a receipt after we paid that was asking for another tip, but they already added the tip originally so they are asking to tip twice.
The pay/order system went “down” after we ordered. Food took about 40 minutes to arrive, and when we went to pay they took our cards and then kept them for another 45 minutes. They insisted we pay cash if we wanted to leave, or else it would be an “unknown amount of time” before they could swipe our cards.Terrible service…you would think they would allow their customers to leave after they’ve kept you here 1.5 hours.
The Wait staff was wonderful, they're decent respectful people. My Wife went there all last month whenever we first arrived in Oklahoma City. Since we didn't know our way around Oklahoma City, yet. We'll still continue to return, whenever we get a chance to,
While there were plenty of staff members working, they seemed confused about their responsibilities. They often used sarcasm with each other to prove this point. Our server talked to us as she walked away and we didn't know she was speaking to us. Then, she would walk back by and repeat the question with a huff. Food was decent, normal for iHop, but the service was lacking.
If you see the picture I didn’t even get a chance to take a before as the cooking here is that good. Great place to enjoy yourself in the delight of pancakes and coffee. Customer service is top quality as well. Management is awesome!!!
